The Swan in Guildford

Just went for a drink on a Saturday but it has been beautifully refurbished. They have done a really stunning job and the staff were very helpful serving drinks and getting us a high chair. Highly recommend!

We came for Sunday lunch on Mother's Day in the newly relaunched Swan. WOW, what a fantastic meal (both veggie and meat options were delicious) and the desserts amazing! Beautifully refurbished and cosy pub. The staff were brilliant - nothing was too much trouble. Our waiter, Martin, was very friendly and super attentive. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Many thanks!

Great location with a stunning (heated) garden. The food is delicious and good value for money. The facilities are outstanding. The staff are polite, attentive and welcoming- particularly Amy, Sarah, David, Martin and Sam. 10/10 would recommend.

Just a quick visit for breakfast, my croissant was fresh and the coffee was delicious! More importantly, we received the best first-class service from Jessie. He really could not have done anything more for us!!

Recently reopened after a major refit by the new management, their efforts have clearly paid off. Great service by Martin. Not ridiculously over fancy, well prepared and very well presented. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely warm room and bed was so comfortable. Shower was lovely and hot. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Owner and staff all lovely and friendly. Definitely going to stay again

Avoid. We booked the rooms for 2020 and had to move our wedding, they would not refund. They also don't answer the phone or reply to emails without constant nagging. A week before they told me that the bar and restaurant would be closed, they would have known for a while. The real kicker is that on the day of my wedding they had accidentally cancelled one of my rooms (booked for almost a year). At this point they rang me during my reception to ask what had happened, this was despite email confirmation again in August and September. Their solution was to book a single at another hotel although this was booked for two adults. Luckily my guests were able to juggle rooms, but this experience tainted my day.

Comfortable beds and a cosy little inn.Shower temperature went from cold to scalding and the cooked breakfasts were a little average hence the 3 stars.The main kitchen was closed during our stay so food quality may be different normally
