Lovely spot on Uni campus with variety of tasty food 🔥

VERY DISAPPOINTEDI came first, waiting for someone to take my order, there was a female employee busy with her stuff in hand, didn’t notice that I have been waiting there for a while. Then there were two guys came across, they seems like know that lady, and she gave them a very warm greeting. She can even tell what they want to order and then take their lunch boxes. I was still ignored so I politely asked her whether I can order now. She said wait a second in a quite indifferent attitude and shrugged her shoulders to show me the takeaway she is doing, then she continued to serve her friends.I really like the rib beef soup they served, I recommended to my friends and brought them there three weeks in a row, just for the soup. I also dine in for lunch frequently. I thought I deserved a better service than this.

Great food just need to be there early to get a good selection

Boss keeps shouting Young man, restaurant is unhygienic (No clue why they have level 5 hygiene certificate) I got food poisoning once last year, recently the price has been increased but the portion is getting less.

Superb food, superb service and great value for money. Everything is made on the premises and is authentic, try the Katsu Chicken or the Chop Suey rolls. Young always makes you feel welcome and you are always greeted with a smile.

The food is amazing and the prices are not ridiculous unlike similar places around town. Some of the best value for money food around Guildford. On top of that, all the staff are very nice and friendly.

Tonight was the first time we've ordered food from Young's kitchen and it was amazing tasty and great value food. The Vegan Green Curry was stunning and the Chicken Katsu Curry was by the far I've ever tasted. We'll definitely be ordering again!

My friends and I frequent this canteen often and food is decent but some members of counter staff are quite reluctant with their portions and inconsistent when dishing it out.At times, one feels you are getting good value for money, other times, you wonder why portions are so meager.

Young's Kitchen serves Korean, Japanese and/or Oriental type dishes, pre-made or to order -- and you can choose different rice, noodles, meat, tofu and rice options.The food is decent and used to be of great value. But increasingly, portions have become stingy. Being a frequent visitor, I have introduced friends to this place; however, dish portions have shrunk over the years. Staff seem to be fearful that they will be "told off" by their bosses because they scooped too much for the customer.The issue with this is that now, customers are starting to notice and value for money is going down. Please be more generous to your customers, especially hungry university students who are already paying a lot in higher education fees.

It is absolutely wonderful in every way. University of surrey is lucky to have an eatery that is of such an amazing quality and yet so affordable. Young is a very special lady and her food is equally special! Congratulations to everyone involved on an amazing Resturant. Breakfast and Lunch. Stunning oriental cuisine!
