Beautiful traditional privately owned coach House serving up honest food well maintained beers and welcoming atmosphere. Landlord & landlady make you feel right at home tending to your every need. Personable service, could not recommended enough for the true English pub connoisseur.

Lovely place on the River but very expensive so, only had light bites and one starter, still cost over £30pounds.

Great traditional pub, clean and fresh and well laid out. The beers and wine were very good and the food and service was excellent. The landlord and all the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and seem to love what they are doing. Everybody in the pub loves dogs so our Ralph was welcomed which was the best bit. Great pub.

I booked a table for 5, we arrived, no table was set for us, they sat us at a very large table that easily sat 8 and the chairs were too low for myself let alone my elderly parents, I asked to be moved and upon looking discovered that large table in fact was a covered pool table! We sat for over an hour before our food arrived, service from the very young bar staff had no pleasantries and could do with being taught customer service skills.. the food was nice although my Monk fish was a tiny portion and my mum's haddock was huge in comparison and although I know monkfish is expensive it looked ridiculous. .. the upside is everyone enjoyed the food and was served on hot plates! There's much to be desired in the decor, it has no ambience, looked very dated and tired, I haven't been to eat at the pub in about 8-10 years and reckon I'll not bother returning!

Nice atmosphere. Good service. Popped in on Sunday afternoon hoping for a roast dinner but kitchen closes early Sunday.

Good food always with excellent fresh seafood. We were a group of 9 and service was spectacularly great. Food piping hot. Highly recommended.

The staff were lovely and welcoming. The food was beautifully cooked and reasonably priced and the building was very warm and cosey like a traditional English pub. Definitely recommend whether as a couple or a family, this place caters for all
