Ho's Fish Bar in Hart

Gluten free Chinese! I didn't have Chinese for almost a decade after being diagnosed with Coeliac disease, so you can imagine my delight and gratitude to Ho's Fish Bar for doing gluten free food! Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style is delicious!

Fish and chips are usually really good and some Chinese dishes too. A had a couple of times unpleasant prawn curry but I passed my feedback to the staff and since then, it has been really good.The problem is that is extremely busy on Fridays between 5.00-800pm so you have to wait approx. 20-25 minutes for your order. And when is raining and cold, it is not very nice standing outside.Staff should be firmer on asking customers to wear face masks as it is small shop.

Ordered a takeaway and it was the worst I've ever had, it was cold, raw vegetables, I had a chicken chow mein which had carrots in it, the chicken tasted like it was days old, the Singapore noodles had no chilli in it, all we could taste was salt, had to get a refund, will never order from there again, veypoor foodcould taste was salt

For an establishment that has been family run for over 40 years, it serves really good quality food.The staff are friendly and welcoming.Both sides of the service (fish and chips | chinese) always come out cooked to order and is always tasty.

I got Recommended this place from a friend . They didn’t have what I normally eat on the menu but they went out of their way and made it for me! The staff was friendly and brilliant . And the food was also amazing . 10/10 highly recommend going here .

Best chip shop around, can't pass by without stopping. Special curry with special fried rice is worth every penny at £10.

We recently placed a large order with Ho's Fish Bar for our company team building workshop and social. Very generous portions, excellent value and due to the large order it was kindly delivered to our event by Danny. Excellent service received - 5*

I only go here now and then because it's so close to home. They only ever want cash which is a pain so I have to go to a cash point first.They cook food quickly and the staff always seem fairly decent but the food is sometimes over cooked!I ordered salt chilli prawns and the batter was soft and floppy.The Peking style chicken was very dark coloured and over cooked. The chicken was not tender, it was slightly tough round the edges.Will stick to a short drive in future

Ho's is a relatively exceptional little takeaway.We have had Chinese before and decided to do a chippie lunch so have it a go.Chips were cooked perfectly, sausages were hot tasty and the 1/4 chicken was sublime.Onion rings were so hot (temperature not spice) they should have had a health warning!!! 🤣Will I go back, 100% yesPrice?2 large sausages, 1/4 chicken 2 lots of chips, onion rings, gherkins? & A couple of drinks & change from a £20... I'd say that's pretty good too!
