Mama Mia in Hart

First time visiting after being told it was so nice. We felt unwelcomed, rushed and the food was not that great and certainly not worth the price. Better restaurants in Hartley Wintney. No offer of coffee, no mints, no limoncello, nothing just the bill. The bill was also rushed and the lady hopped from one table to another to take payment. Whole experience was rubbish. Others were looked after. Very clicky and look after their regulars only. Will not be returning.

Excellent service. We are always well looked after here. The food is gorgeous especially the steaks.

DisappointingHad high hopes with all the good reviews but failed to meet the mark. Went for special occasion and must say food is incredibly overpriced and nothing special. Asked for no onions on pizza but when delivered covered in onions no one apologised for the error and had to sit with no food while waiting for correct order. My partner ordered Greens with his main which never arrived when everyone had finished a waiter came over and said you never received your veg did you I’ll take it off the bill 😳 I would hope you would we never received it. To top it off charged for pizza… total cost for 5 people £260 service was not good for that price and food ok but not for the price. Won’t return.

Good food, nice atmosphere, attentive staff. Good portions but some dishes were a little rich and repetitive in terms of taste variety (e.g white crab risotto). Brulee Cheesecake was fantastic. We didn't try the steaks but will do next time.

Early Valentines meal. Cosy. Intimate. Lovely hospitality. Real Italian food.Starters we has cheesy garlic bread, butterflied king prawns which came in like a tangy tomato sauce however I was expecting something more buttery / garlicky, and sardines!I ordered my main of crab risotto from the specials menu, and bf had the seafood linguine. Everything was just full of flavour. Personally for me, risotto in general is a bit of a one dimensional dish - however this was one of the tastier risottos I've had. Huge portion.Dessert: tiramasu and creme brulee cheesecake - both are great but get the cheesecake if you're wanting something a bit different! 😋

Lovely authentic Italian food and great for that romantic meal out or just for celebrations. Nice staff and I just love the food here, everything from the steak to the pasta dishes it’s all worth while. Ample parking front and back provided and it’s just outside Hartley Whitney so you’d need your car or long walk to get there.

Ordered a supposedly vegetarian starter (asparagus) that had bacon wrapped around it.Apart from that, good service and tasty food.Would be good if they mark vegetarian dishes to avoid this in future.

Food is excellent, the staff are funny, friendly and extremely attentive. This restaurant is a massive treat to have as a local. We are always surrounded by brilliant vibes and to mention again the food is always to die for!

Thank you to Paulo and team for yet another amazing evening. We have held our works do here for many years - each year the team choose to come back because of the quality of food, the friendly atmosphere and the great wine! A delicious meal every time!

A surprisingly large interior yet the clever design means that each area feels cosy & very welcoming. The menu is well thought out and provided us with excellent choices & combined with a lovely bottle of wine helped make this, our first visit, want to come back again.The staff were knowledgeable, friendly & gave us the level of customer care not experienced all that often.I made an observation on my partners main course which was taken in the way I meant it, ie, not a complaint & did not spoil the evening we had.Definitely going back soon & I can see Mama Mia's becoming one of our favourite restaurants.
