Always a treat at Poppy's. All day breakfast is hard to beat, locally sourced ingredients always beautifully cooked. Lovely coffee. Their Sunday lunches look really tasty & are very popular, you need to book on Sundays. Their staff are welcoming, always helpful without being intrusive.

Greasy spoon style cafe but with a modern, fairly stylish look with a recently updated interior and lots of space. As others have said, there was a smell of grease in the air when I walked in despite my being one of their first customers, so they do seem to need better extraction.The coffee was also way too weak and basically tasted of milk rather than a flat white - suspect they only used a single shot of coffee rather than the two it should have.It's nice for what it is though, and if you're looking for a simple cafe with a nice space to sit then it gets four stars for being good at what it is even if not really to my taste.

I like going to Poppy's because it's on my doorstep and I prefer to support local businesses more than chains. I don't need to park here but there is parking available.The food is always tasty and freshly made after ordering.I've had 2 or 3 breakfasts thereand food can sometimes food can be a bit chargrilled but I have never had any complaints and its just proper home cooked grub. I've also had 2 or 3 sandwhich lunches and they are amazing. Door step bread and generous filling throughout which I love. Come with crisps and side salad.Prices are very reasonable.There is always music at a comfortably level. Not too loud but loud enough.

A great little neighbourhood coffee shop. Good coffee, nice cakes BUT they've GOT to sort out their ventilation system. I walked in to the smell of burnt fat which pervaded the whole shop. Not very attractive. Get a decent extractor fan!

Was just working in the area so thought I would find the nearest cafe, this one had seemed to have lovely reviews so decided to pop in. Didn’t disappoint, lovely members of staff, cute spacious cafe and food was really lovely. A right hidden little gem

Love this little cafe. Really nice all day breakfast and superb coffees, better than your average Starbucks or Costa. Sunday roasts are good as well. They use good quality produce, cooked really well, and the staff are always friendly and efficient.

Came here as a result of a recommendation of a friend. Absolutely amazing breakfast - everything cooked fresh to order and the latte was one of the nicest I’ve ever had. Lovely and friendly staff too. Highly recommend this place!👌🏻😋

Whilst out adventuring I found this little gem of a cafe! Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area! Great breakfast, really well priced and some super friendly staff. Adding to my list of super cafe stops!
