We enjoyed the food at this wonderful gastro pub so much we went on consecutive days when touring in Suffolk! Fantastic atmosphere and great location in a beautiful village- a real hidden gem. Super food and a thoughtful menu. Lovely staff. Great value. Would highly recommend

Been twice before and were very impressed. This time however we were very disappointed. No clientele wearing masks, dogs barking loudly in the bar area. My leeks were undercooked and my wife's battered haddock was not of the standard one expects from a good chip shop. In fairness the starters were good as was my cod main course. Soft drinks prices are exorbitant albeit from a wide choice. Will be looking elsewhere for a good quality meal next time.

Lovely pub. Food looked good but I haven’t eaten there. Beer was good. Gorgeous church next door

Really great food and service. Massive portions. Starters could be a main. Had rarebit starter and fish chowder main... delicious. Despite all the shenanigans with staff shortages everywhere in the industry, The Crown didn't let us (a group of 12) down. We did book and sensibly were asked to pre-order as we were such a large group.

We had a great meal here. My steak was cooked to perfection. And OMG the onion rings were amazing. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Good local village pub with great choice on the menu and full of charm.

Thought we would try a new venue a bit further from home and boy was it worth the drive. Firstly it is set in a lovely rural setting with plenty of outdoor space which gave it that relaxing feeling which is just what you want when you are about to start a long lunch. The menu was well thought through, not too many dishes which is reassuring as you know the food will be freshly cooked. We all chose something different and nobody was disappointed. Interestingly they are part of a small group that brew their own beer with a choice of three styles, very nice. Staff all very helpful and the prices reasonable, what's no to like.

First time out and wasn't disappointed. Special occasion for the family. Lovely place and staff were very friendly. The food was amazing and reasonably priced for what we chose. Would recommend that you try here, and we would definitely return. Big thumbs up 👍

Absolutely Brilliant!Shared the cheese platter and onion rings with the other half, was delicious and surprisingly came with some stunning freshly baked bread too! The bread certainly overshadowed the biscuits but the cheese selection was lovely! The onion rings were the best I've ever had... Perhaps I've lead a sheltered life but they were!!Sharing platter was £14 and the onion rings were £3, exceptionally good value!!
