The Derby Inn in Hart

Popped in for a Sunday roast, the place was absolutely packed but it was a nice day so sat outside and had one of the best pork belly dishes I've ever had! Service was friendly and food came out very quick considering how busy it was, thoroughly recommend.

Amazing food, great service. We were in the area to visit a family member and found this little gem! Sunday lunch was delicious and a lovely portion size. Try the Greek orange pie if you get the chance, I have never tasted anything quite like it!!We liked place so much we returned the following day. The menu has something for everyone, we had the crispy belly pork and seabass, there wasn't a crumb left!The specials board starter of tiger prawns with garlic and chorizo served with toasted olive bread were divine and the garlic mushrooms just as tasty.I can't recommend this place enough! I would recommend booking at a weekend as it gets very busy.

First visit in a long time. Staff extremely helpful as I have an allergy. Took the order then came back to reassure me all was fine. Food was delicious, next time I'm going to skip the starter so I have room for dessert. 😉

A bit pricey but well worth it. Service was lovely. Good varied menu and food delicious. Would highly recommend. We will be telling all our friends and family and will be back 😁

It could have been better for the money, my steak was over done for Medium, but you can't really send that back to rectify it. The chicken liver pate was very good.Bar staff fab and chatty, waitresses not so much.

Very nice local pub with definitely a menu a cut above the rest!! We had the Crispy pork belly, very tasty!!

Five star service and food from all staff and Owner. Wonderful atmosphere. Couldn't recommended highly enough. Today they were packed out and still service and food was exceptional. A great place to visit.

Amazing place! Sitting in this pub feels like sitting at home in your comfy warm living room. The staff, albeit young, were some of the most professional, kind and friendly staff I have been served by. The photo is of our meals, both of which were off the Specials menu. First is the Fillet Rossini, this is a stack starting with a slice of bread, then a flat mushroom, then comes the medium rare fillet steak which is topped with some pate, balisimo! Second is the Fish Stew, which contained a nice piece of salmon and a bass fillet, mussels, calamari, prawns and potato all in a light tomato sauce, it was outstanding.

Special lunch here today and wasn't disappointed. The food was good quality and quantity and the overall price very reasonable. Better yet the staff were brilliant. Having two under 5 is always a challenge but they coped so well and looked as though they were having fun too. Certainly a place to visit again
