The Hogget in Hart

Went for a belated fathers treat. We explored lots of the menu between our table of 7. Pretty much all food is made on site and all meals exceeded expectations. Puddings we’re unbelievable so make sure you leave room. Staff were great, super friendly and helpful

Just had an amazing meal at the hogget, booked a table half an hour before arriving on a Sunday! Greeted and sat at our table straight away and had our drinks order taken and within minutes they were with us. We then ordered our starters and mains and received very quickly I had the calamari and my wife had the grilled hallomi and we had the cauliflower wings to share and these were all great full of flavour and the potions were very generous for starters. Next I had the half rack of ribs which I would say came as a full rack in some restaurants but not here it was a big portion for half and I upgraded my chips for the smokey brisket Fries and my wife had the pork belly (slab) and she also upgraded to the same fries and we shared a doorstep garlic loaf! Every month full was splendid! Then as the portions were very generous it was the tough decision of pudding :-/. My wife went for it and had the Biscoff cupcake and I could only manage 2 large scoops of mango sorbet I tried abit of the cupcake and it was really nice. During our time at the hogget we were constantly asked if we needed anything and if our meals were OK and this is brilliant the staff were all cheerful and nothing was a bother I have to say this is up there in restaurant visits, the bill was fully justify able and worth every penny highly recommended and will definitely be returning as there's so much more the menu has to offer. Also the Guinness is poured to perfection. Well done guys.

Although it's now doing American style fast food it's very good. Nice beers on tap from Ringwood brewery. Plenty of parking with good accessibility. For the warmer weather there is an outside seat/dining area. You can see the wife stealing my halloumi fingers in the photo

First time dining here, with family. Attentive staff, drinks ordered and served without delay. Good range of starters and meal choices on the menu, all reasonably priced. I only ordered to starters, Halloumi, £2.50 and Callimari, £6.50,see photo, as had a late breakfast.Family ordered a burger, with a few extras, and the Sunday roast, and Mac&cheese for the little one. Space had been reserved for some delicious puddings too.All in all, we will definitely be back. Food, service, atmosphere, everything, just made for a great dining out experience.

Good service, good food. Second time I've been here. Went with the piri piri chicken Tacos and was happy when they arrived. Nice portion size and full of flavour. Only gave 4 starts as beer selection wasn't quite to my taste but this wasn't to say it wasn't good.Dog friendly

This was our first visit to The Hogget and the place is great! The staff are welcoming and friendly, especially Hayden the man behind the bar. You can tell making their customers happy is their main priority. The food is fantastic too, best burgers we have tasted! Can't wait to go back! 😀

Just had a really yummy meal here tonight, after a last minute booking. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Meals were huge and so tasty. We had the chilli, macaroni cheese and the roast. Sadly we were all too full to enjoy a pudding! The table next to us all seemed to enjoy their puddings! And they looked delicious! We will be back!

So wish this great little place was nearer to our home! ☹️We popped in whilst travelling through the area and were blown away. 😊The food and service were excellent.Staff friendly and welcoming and gave good advice on food choices.Probably the best burgers we've had in a long, long while and amazing puds too.The KitKat cheesecake was amazing.I'm sure we'll find an excuse to come that way very soon. 🤞

I've been trying to plan coming here for months and got there today and it did not disappoint. Big burgers and dirty fries and everything full of flavour. Highly recommend for any burger lovers

Went there today for lunch. Was absolutely lovely. Staff were really friendly and attentive.I like the fact there wasn't a physical menu to hold and instead you had to scan a QR code to see the menu online.We had the brisket fries, bbq bacon fries and pork scratchings which was lovely and very filling! Will definitely be coming back as this is my new favourite pregnancy craving!
