A lovely place to eat and drink, the pond and the garden are a perfect spot to relax in the summer evenings. The food was lovely and very friendly staff, we will definitely be there again soon.

Lovely historic pub with attentive and very polite lady serving. Only went in for coffee. The Latte was great but sadly my espresso was not as "kicking" as I would have liked. Of course, that's personal, and maybe a one off...but I would return! They also seem to have a fantastic selection of wines by the glass (see photo) Must try next time!

Great pub with a lovely ambiance. Food was delicious too and reasonably priced. Ideal for all occasions. Dog friendly too which is a bonus.Well kept grounds for young and old to walk around.

Good location on the river. Interesting places to eat both inside and out. Trout swim in the river below the pub

It's been a long time since I've been here, and since the last time I've been disappointed.I think the quality has gone down a lot.The taste and presentation of the dishes have never been so poor. And honestly, the quality leaves a lot to be desired. The worst thing was that I took my family to this place for the first time and it left us all very much to be desired. I told my family about a very good place, but we were all very disappointed.

Really pretty location. The pub/restaurant is impressive inside. Unfortunately lack of staff today ment we could only eat if seated indoors which on such a beautiful day was a shame, the room we sat in was was nice but when more people came in it became loud and echoy which made the rest of our experience sightly negative as we could barley talk to each other over the noise from the other guests. I would recommend the room be used for just one party of people and not multiple as it's a small room and difficult to make work with too many people.Food was lovely, good quality but our food was served with no cutlery so we had to go and find it and no sauces were offered once the food had be put down on the table so we had to go back and ask for that too. For the price we paid I would have expected better service, perhaps to go slightly above the below standard service we received. The outside area here is absolutely beautiful, with things for the children to do and its dog friendly! also you can see the old mill wheel downstairs which is lovley to see. For a drink and a seat outside on a beautiful day I would highly recommend it, food service not so much.

Our walk led us into the back garden of this pub. It was a fantastic view to eat and drink by. The vegan options were amazing, I haven't had such a good meal like that in a long time. Definitely will go again and reccomend highly.

Fabulous lunch in a beautiful pub. My husband had the fish and chips, the fish was gorgeous, lightly battered and crunchy- not greasy or heavy and I had the steak ciabatta sandwich which was also very tasty! Lots of parking and such a beautiful setting, it was gorgeous outside but a bit chilly to sit out the day we went. Very friendly and lovely staff and great service. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous! The best family Pub I have been to. Green, a beautiful pond, play area, plenty of seating. And yes the service is great too. Will come again
