Hands down the best vegan burger I have ever had. If you're ever in the area make sure you visit you won't regret it

Unfriendly, unwelcoming man at reception. No smile, just miserable and uninterested. Not a single smile. Not a single "hello" .Most uncomfortable bed ever. Thin, hard old mattress. Old thin bedding and pillowsCobwebs in the room. Hands down the worst most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept in.Bathroom fixtures broken, missing and/ or dirty.The same man who checked us in (landlord?) took our food order and was still miserable - no smile, no interaction with our group, no chat. I honestly think he's in the wrong profession if he cannot manage a single smile.Only bright shining star was Ben behind the bar. Super friendly and welcoming, very helpful..

We had a club Xmas meal at the New Inn with about 20 people in total. The staff had laid out an area of the restaurant specifically for us and were very welcoming. The food and service were very good. We would definitely go there again.

Amazing Inn with really friendly and helpful staff. Arrived and greeted with a warm smile, and was recommended places nearby for walks and the perfect local farm to grab a coffee the next morning, not to mention the amazing food served in the pub, the Game Casserole I can't recommend enough.Will happily return here when in the area.

The restaurant was great, food wonderful. The room although a little plain was clean. The hairdryer had smoke pouring out of it and the element glowed red, they replaced this. The room was cold and although the bathroom had a sign saying not to touch the towel rail, as very hot, never came on for the whole 2 nights. I tried to call Reception on several occasions but no one answered. Maybe a phone in the bar might be a good idea! Friendly staff.

What a great place to stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent with plenty of choice on the menu. The room was spacious clean and comfortable with a bathroom that had a shower and bath lovely. A very enjoyable stay..

We stayed August Bank Holiday weekend as we were attending the Horse Trials and it was the best decision.The food in the pub was incredible! Using great local suppliers.The service from the staff was excellent even when under pressure.We had such a great stay We are already booked back in for next year!

One of the best mixed grills we have had, great quality meat and very great value for money. Cheese ploughman's was delicious too. Certainly will be returning. Great friendly service.

What a great find. Me and a mate would visit here quite frequently. Untill we both moved from the area. But now we're both back in the area and want to swing by again.Food is great. Staff are awesome and atmosphere is spot on whether it's busy or quite. Outdoor area I like when it's nice out as I do weirdly like to watch the cars, horses , world go by.Very much looking forward to visiting next week.Keep up the awesome work guys!

A small group of us senior citizens meet up for lunch regularly and have used the New Inn quite a few times now and we always enjoy our lunches here. There is plenty of choice on the menu which seem to suit all of us. Food quality is very good and the service is always excellent and the staff very friendly.It’s certainly on our “regular visit” list and we can thoroughly recommend it.
