Enjoyed the experience so much we went again a day later. Food was excellent and plentiful making it well worth the money. Beer prices were not as expensive as I was expecting. Service was quick, polite and efficient

Relaxed Friday pub lunch, perfect. Surprised how busy it was for a Friday, glad we booked! Friendly team and food was served quickly. Thanks for a great lunch.

Cute little pub in the country. Quite popular. We went in on the off chance but only ended up having a drink as we felt it was a tad small for us and wanted somewhere, where someone isn't sitting right next to you cramped in, if you like a little cosy country pub then this place is definitely for you...Ps. Not a great selection of drinks neither.

We had Filet Steak and Fish and Chips. Both were excellent. The Steak was one of the best during our holiday in England. The staff was friendly. Had a great time. Thank you 5 Stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Honestly one of the best dinners I've eaten in quite a while.Steak was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, sides were delicious and the blue cheese sauce was to die for.

This is a popular pub, 17th century with lots of character, because its popular you really need to book in advance, which is what we did so that we could eat when we wanted. The staff were all very pleasant friendly and helpful and had time to check with us what was or not available. Food was served quickly and was good sized portions. The Eaton Mess to share was very nice and plenty for two. Can't comment on the ales as did not have any. Carparking is right next to the pub. A great place to have a good meal and have a good conversation with your companion as what music is playing is in the background and does not get in the way of having a proper conversation. Prices are competitive for Food and drink.

Outstanding Gastro experience, don't miss it! Wonderful off the beaten track gem. Cozy and pretty inside, warm friendly staff, wide selection of simply amazing food. Cannot recommend them enough (and their pizza oven will soon be back in action), we'll be back for their Sunday lunch extravaganza ;)

Stopped here purely at random after our second disappointment at a local farm shop, and had a delightful lunch. The service, from the new trainee to all the other staff was really friendly and attentive. The food, although we only had a main meal, was good and the bar well stocked.

Fantastic customer service! Rang at 12pm booking table for 1pm and preordered food as we didn’t have long . Table and food ready for us exactly on time and meals were big portions and tasty . Lovely friendly staff too who couldn’t do enough for you . Well done everyone !! And thank you again

A lovely gastro pub, that makes excellent use of the village green to provide extensive outdoor seating.Came for lunch on a Saturday and enjoyed some tasty calamari followed by well executed pork belly. This was all washed down by a good selection of beer, which include hogs back TEA.
