Excellent late lunch, last minute decision and not disappointed. Fish and chips delicious and the lamb was 1st class..

Lovely warm place which had visiting dogs which I thought was a lovely site whilst having a weekend drink with friends.

Love this hotel its magical this time of year . Nothing is too much trouble. The food is just wonderful

Always a great place to eat and drink.

Favorite bar to visit. Huge log fire and brilliant staff. Only wish i lived closer, i would go there every week. Food is excellent as well.

Very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful historic building, the food was absolutely delicious and service second to none. The staff seem very knowledgeable when we asked them questions regarding the history of the hotel. Would be definitely going again!

Have to agree with the last review. Had the Risotto just to see if the review held water and I have to agree, it was absolutely a waste of money and it should be taken off of the menu. Boiled mashed rice with 3 sprigs of Asparagus on top . . . avoid

No option for zero stars which this place deserves - categorically the worst risotto I have ever tasted. A boiled white rice pudding lump with peas. Totally inedible. Refunded cost but no trained cook would have sent that out. Wont be returning
