Good menu and decent prices. Service was quick and food was hot. Nice atmosphere to sit in, although it was a bit chilly. Didn't need to book even though it was a Friday night.

Called in for a quick drink on way down A19, never been in since it changed to Sambuca, as we only wanted drinks and not food we were directed to sit in an obscure corner with a dubious sofa which nearly broke the sons back as it was past its best and cushions were really bad, I don't think I would ever return as it felt most unwelcoming.

Poor customer response. Went in after booking table, but responded in rude way that the restaurant is closed and they don't want to apologise for the wrong information given to us via phone. Needs to improve hospitality.

My first experience there .... drove all the way from Newcastle because I've always wanted to try that one because I've heard it was the best one ...... NEVER AGAIN ..... its bloody freezing inside1. Very cold2. Waitress. Took wrong orders so had to wait for our food x23.the coke is rotten is like water4.lemonad is rotten is like water5.the food is not very nice6.they price out bill up wrong and had to be done 3 times over because the waitress didn't have a clue what she was doing7.the chips are rottenThe only possible positive thing about that 2 course meal was the prawn cocktail really fresh and done wellI will not be back

Love this place, been going for years and had regular meet ups with friends on a Sunday for a carvery. It's always busy but can always get seated. The staff are lovely and welcoming, they go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and their hospitality is on point. Highly recommend, I prefer this restaurant over many and that's why we don't mind travelling to get there.

From start to finish wonderful service, helpful staff and well presented restaurant and bar.The food was exceptional the steak was full of flavour and very tender. The sauce that it came with went so well with the lobster and steak coming away from the usual butter based style sauce. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be a returning customer. I would also recommend the chefs special steak and lobster for a taste sensation. Thank you very much and see you again soon.

Really enjoyed our visit here. The food was beautiful and plenty of it, the staff were fab, so friendly and attentive. Great with the kids too! Atmosphere was good and felt safe with rules being followed.I've included pics of the menu and there's lots of special offers available too. I look forward to going back again soon.
