Food hasn't been to bad in the past, but this time over 1hr wait from arrival and only luke warm. Seems like majority of pubs prices are going up and quality down.

·

Looking to move to the area so we came down for the afternoon to look at some houses. One of the local agents recommended the Wyvern and they weren't wrong! The food was brilliant, competitive prices and the staff were fantastic. Thank you Bobby and the gang!

Disappointing to walk in a 6pm on Friday for a quick drink with 3 friends and being sent away. There was plenty of places to sit and 2 guys on long table offered for us to sit on their table waitress refused and told us to leave. Not very good impression and won't be retuning so many tables and empty. very disappointing

Great atmosphere and really nice food. Good choice of beers on tap and plenty of large TV's to watch the sport 👌

First time visiting and definitely not the last! The pub is cosy with great decor and has a lovely vibe, everyone is friendly, good background music, the food was delicious and unique! (Burger with mozzarella sticks and cured hams in!) Great Bear selection and best of all it is dog friendly!

Lovely pub with plenty of nice touches such as a tropical fish tank 🐠, cosy little nooks 🛋 and a gorgeous garden Food was outstanding for taste and fairly good for portion size. I would love to try one of their roasts on the Sabbath 😋Lastly, staff were very polite and accommodating and facilities were conveniently placed and of a good clean standard

I came here by chance, and it was a great shout on behalf of Google Maps. When you walk in, a warm, cosy atmosphere envelopes you and invites you through to the bar. I love how friendly the staff are - keen to have a laugh and converse with everyone, and very hardworking too! There is very little wait for food that I feel exceeds "pub food" expectations - the chicken wings were succulent, their flavour well-balanced. The sirloin steak was amazing - paired with the triple-cooked chips, peas and onion rings, it was a treat for the senses. I love how the cookie pizza, something that sounds sickly and overly-sweet, was very well-balanced and really is a great sharer dessert. The part of the pub where we were sat was so snuggly, and even when the football was on, the general environment wasn't roudy. In fact, the men watching the football were only raucous when Chelsea scored - a very apt time! We all love a good goal celebration. Anywho...Thank you, staff of The Wyvern Pub. I chose your establishment based on the name alone (as I love dragons), and I was not dissapointed. You exceeded my expectations. Thank you!
