Goat Ledge was featured in the i newspaper's list of 50 best seaside restaurants/cafés, and it lived up to the hype. More of a seafood shack than full-blown restaurant, the emphasis here is on freshly-caught produce, a simple but delicious menu, and laid back vibes. We ordered the classic fish burger which was crispy, perfectly seasoned and came in a beautifully glazed brioche bun.The katsu fries were divine and the perfect balance of savoury, a hint of sweetness and a low, slow chilli kick that leaves a tangy heat in the mouth. The vegetarian "pulled pork" oyster mushroom burger was an umame treat from start to finish and utterly moreish, I could have eaten two!Fries were crispy, fresh and not too oily. The bean salad with salt n pepper fried squid was fresh, zesty and complemented the crispy crunch of the squid really well.Service was friendly and relaxed and I can totally see why people go back here time and time again. And absolute gem in St Leonards / Hastings! 🐟🦀🐙🍔🍟🍤🦐🦑

Came here several times both for food and for a pint with a sea view. Staff were very polite and dog friendly, highly recommend

We came here for lunch and absolutely loved the food here. We had the sunrise special which was so so tasty. Staff where so friendly. They said there was going to be a long waiting time but everything came very quickly. If you're in Hastings please come here. ITS A MUST!!

Wow. I don't know what else to say! Goat Ledge was recommended to us and we ended up visiting every day of our stay in St Leonards. I can see why it's so popular. Staff were super friendly and there's a really relaxed vibe about the place. Don't let that fool you though, the service is like a well oiled machine. We had breakfast baps there and pastries (not on the same visit!) And the food quality was excellent. I can vouch for the local beer and the freshly squeezed orange juice. Oh, and the espresso was great too - they serve a double as a standard measure. After a 4 night break in St Leonards we felt like part of the Goat Ledge family when we left. Will define visit again when we're in the area - probably every day I suspect.

Love this place, stumbled upon this area whilst on holiday in st Leonards. Right on the seafront, atmosphere is amazing, food is great and staff are lovely, the Service is quick too. Sit outside and watch the world go by, you won't find a better place to relax and take in the scenery!

Lovely spot with yummy food. More than once have had longer than predicted wait time on food but we do love to stop by for at least a hot beverage ☕️

Love Goat Ledge. Such a lovely place for a drink, or bap. My only wish is they did an all day breakfast or a meat based bap in the afternoon early evening, as it is just fish or vegetarian.

Beautiful cafe along the seafront, with little huts outside and a real cozy, family atmosphere.I only popped in for a coffee, but staff were very attentive and the decor is just so cute.
