This place is a disgrace. The owner is selling cheese that is about to go off imminently, for a considerable mark-up (£10.25 for this cheese, take out price), then blames the supplier with the lead by dates, saying that they don't have a long lead time. I do not believe this one bit. The fact of the matter is that this cheese has been sitting there unsold. I would not be surprised if other delicatessen items are in the same boat quite frankly. The owner then said I could not exchange it for something else since one quarter was missing, which is what we put on the plate on Wednesday night, use by date 12 hours later. Was she seriously expecting to sell this cheese again, to glue the quarter back on, or pass it on to her customers in the restaurant, a day after its USE-BY date! Who knows, anything goes maybe in this place. I was trying to be nice by asking for an exchange rather than a refund, but no, she objects. She smells it and says there is nothing wrong with it. Make of it what you like.Everything is overpriced in this place in any case, that is why the offerings must sit there past their shelf life looking for punters!DO NOT BOTHER!

Fabulous and relaxed Sunday lunch. Best burratta ever with heritage tomatoes and delicious tapas loved the smoked mackerel pate. French rose wine was excellent too. Owner very friendly and helpful and a beautiful view of the sea. Very enjoyable will return

The place definitely has its own character, vibe and feel, unlike many other cafes around. Very chilled, laid down and pleasant. On the food side it is more of a wine shop where you can have most of the products from the shop, rather than a proper cafe or restaurant. That being said the products are very good and the wine choice is great. Last by not least - the host (the owner?) Is super mega friendly making you feel at home immediately. Come for the wine, stay for relax. Get a full blown dinner somewhere else.

Chilled and relaxed atmosphere for evening dinner. Loved the sharing platter and extensive choice of wines. We enjoyed a group dining experience on Thursday 24th June 2021 and the food was incredible. The service was great considering there was only one chef and one server - and the food did not disappoint as soon as it arrived. We shared some small plates and it was perfect 👍🏼I’d highly recommend this place if your visiting Hastings!! The setting immediately relaxes you - think art gallery.

Superb food wine located in a quirky seaside gallery. Great selection of charcuterie and cheeses. I particularly enjoyed the trout pate and sourdough toast which was superb. The local cider was also fantastic. I sat outodie looking out to sea which is a great way to have some food and drinks.Great service very friendly and helpful team. My table was cleaned for me as I sat down so safe for visiting during Covid19. I will be back to try everything on the menu!

Finding this place really was the cherry on the cake for our Hastings staycation. We went on Friday and enjoyed it so much we went back on the Saturday. Fab food, wine and staff. Fairly priced too. Thank you Graze on Grand x
