Half Man! Half Burger! in Hastings

Awesome 👌 This place has a great look and vibe 😎 The staff were really good and most importantly the food was spot on. I am gluten free and they can accomodate for this. The burgers were some of the best we have had but the star for us were the chilli topped fries!! Just couldn't stop eating them!! Quick turn around as well. Would really recommend - especially if you are looking for a speed meal but great food 😊

FAB-U-LOUS!Over the years I have eaten a lot of burgers in a lot of restaurants and these are easily in the top 3. Taste is amazing. We had three different burgers and all were loved. And to able to deliver such quality and flavour with vegan food is an absolute win. Add in the green credentials, support of local producers and an eclectic produt range, these guys have it spot on.Rosemary fries are brilliant - no need at all to reach for ketchup or mayonnaise to add flavour.

Service was absolutely fantastic, the beardy chap who was looking after us couldn't have been more attentive or kinder to our son. Burgers were brill (both beef and vegan), and we tried all three desserts which were also epic. Personally I thought the fries were a little overdone, but the rest was good enough to merit a full 5*. Would defo return.

Went for the first time tonight and we had a fantastic server who made us very welcome. All 6 of us enjoyed our food with no issues, cost was a little more than the average price but you get what you pay for, definitely recommend.

Best burger in Hastings by a LONG way! Lots of seating, efficient service and a great location in a hip industrial estate behind Morrison's off Queens Road - lots of other amazing businesses to see. The rosemary fries are brilliant. Also comes with a good selection of craft beers and ciders. The original place in St. Leonards still there as well. A brilliant, innovative local business that deserves your support. Forget the chain restaurants in the town centre, go here for some real taste!

These burgers are amazingly tasty, as are the beef chilli cheese fries. Not overly cheap, but well worth a visit. Good for vegans too :) Very friendly staff.

More staff than customers when we arrived, which was promising, but turned out to be a bit of a drawback.The ambiance and décor is rough, ready and unfinished. They must have a space problem because the toilets are outside and food storage is in wire mesh cages above customers heads on one side and in rack where customers and staff pass to get in - could be so easy to contaminate the those supplies.Friendly waiter, but food so very disappointing. It was so tasteless and substandard that two of our party had to send it back. The burgers - which came in fast food boxes bore no resemblance to the description on the menu. The chips were nice, but were all over a metal tray, so were not hot when they were served and rapidly got cold. They were also a bit overdone, so were on the hard side of crunchy.Really expensive for such poor quality meal.Ordering was fairly easy and a friendly waiter took the order. Nice cidre in bottles which was great, but that was the best bit. The food - served in a cardboard fast-food burger box, fries mostly all over a dirty metal tray, was disappointing. The black bean burger was so well done it was like biting into wood. There were five tiny shreds of lettuce, a most minuscule amount of sauce and an incredibly small slice of something red - so thin it could have been either pepper or tomato- hard to tell.Fries were good, crunchy and tasty with salt and rosemary on them which made them different and the best part of the meal, but a bit overpriced.HMHB has such a good reputation, at least locally, indeed the Marina operation was great the last time I went there, but this Hastings one is a big let down. Leaving the reputation is in tatters and the previous glory, so completely faded, that we'll not be back.

Love this branch of HMHB. Staff were friendly and organised Both burgers were delicious and the fries were great too. Always seem to get lucky with parking as well which is a bonus. The had the smokestack and the bean big cheese-to die for!

Great place to eat and has excellent vegan options. I'd deifntielty recommend,cboth the yard in Hastings and St Leonard's on Sea. They also have a fab selection of craft beers.
