Visited the pub on the 27th October with Elizabeth and Archie (our working cocker spaniel) for lunch. Fabulous host made us all welcome, food was fantastic and reasonably priced and great atmosphere. Truly recommended for all those with a waggy tailed family member. A big thank you to everyone at the Hastings Arms

Visited twice this week. Both times brilliant atmosphere and food. First evening usual counter menu (had smoked haddock - delicious). Second time was tappas night - food was amazing (recommend the squid and flash steak) Friendly welcoming staff. Nice to find a pub that happily accepted our dogs with us. Will definitely be back AGAIN.

The Mecca of pubs. The Cathedral of pubs. A proper pub run on traditional lines.The best pub in the Shepherd and Neame fleet.A spiritual ( no pun intended unless you drink spirits of course ) up lifting experience every time you visit.Love the place.
