La Bella Vista in Hastings

I booked this restaurant as it was highly recommended by my Airbnb host, but to be honest it was clear from the reviews that this was the place to go in Hastings for a special occasion.Thank you to the incredible and highly attentive team at Bella Vista for a sensational experience. Honestly, I haven't come across service like this in a while (even in top rated London restaurants), each staff member was detail orientated. My mum (the birthday girl) was given a sprinkle of confetti on the table and the server was also considerate enough to check if we preferred the children's food to arrive first when we placed our order as it was a busy day.The food was really good, great portions even for the kids size and beautifully presented. They don't actually do a kids menu but offer to serve a smaller portion with a 30% off the dish which was good as my 4 year old definitely couldn't have eaten very much.We were actually really full so did not get to enjoy desserts but what was so lovely and unexpected was the limoncello served with a beautiful message and singing from several servers. You guys really are awesome!Would highly recommend this place for a wonderful lunch or dinner! Will definitely visit again if we come down next year.

A good Italian restaurant, with good welcoming service, clean and well maintained, quite busy. Sim doubt the best restaurants in the area. The liver and the scoglio pasta were very good highly recommended and tasty.The only thing that was overlooked is that we went with a little girl and they did not offer us a gun dish or children's menu and it was us who had to ask for the menu and they did not offer us either bread for the rest very well.

We had a lovely visit here twice for dinner during our short trip to Hastings.Thoroughly impressed by our first experience by the staff's hospitality, their smart attire and delicious food.We came back the next night and tried a few new dishes but also included another order of seafood pasta, as it was a favorite from the previous night's dinner.I forget the title of the seafood pasta, but it was something, S_____ di Mare. It was fantastic.The seafood risotto was nice as well, similar collection of mussels, clams and a king prawn, but I found the pasta sauce to be more flavorful than the risotto's "sauce".Thank you for a beautiful dining experience while on holiday. Had a family lunch here today and the place is simply the best. The most delicious prawns and steak and strawberry tiramisu ever. Our bill totalled at 138 pounds for 2 adults and 2 children (2starters, 2 pizzas,2 mains and 2 desserts, pint of cider and beer for adults) but it was worth every penny. Go there and enjoy the food, the view, the atmosphere and excellent staff.

We've been here before on our visits and always enjoy eating here. Would recommend and will return. The servers were lovely but they are definitely new and need more training. Also, things are made fresh so food takes time to come out which we don't mind. Their Tiramisu is incredible!

Fantastic food and drink with friendly service.Glad we booked ahead because it's deservedly a popular spot with the locals. Would highly recommend checking it out for yourself.

Decent food. Staffs were attentive. It can get very busy during dinner so make sure you reserve a table.

Local Italian restaurant with excellent food and great service.Starters. Mains and desert were all top class. Well presented. Good size portions. And superb flavour with fresh ingredients.Excellent selection of wines and beers. Also a good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails and gins.Located on the sea front. Parking close by.Pleasant views across the sea front.

I left this review on TripAdvisor as well, deserve all the credit !Me and my boyfriend visiting Hastings for a long weekend and decided to celebrate our anniversary at this restaurant.First of all stuff is super attentive to details. They congratulate us and put little sparkly confetti on our table to set the mood.Meal was amazing!Delicious, decent portions, very well presented!Dessert was a star of the evening, without our asking, dessert was served with lovely congratulations message ! So kind of them, and super beautiful!All photos I have attached!Restaurant was busy at that day, and was no delays on food and drinks.Customer service is on the top level!Massive thank you to chefs, waiting stuff and manager, who has such a lovely team.Highly recommended!
