Mwah Dim Sum Bar in Hastings

We were overall pleased with this experience, the restaurant had a warm vibe, with a welcoming staff and environment. The staff were lovely although the decor was a little plain. As soon as we came in, we were seated, then our food came quickly. One of us ordered a Mwah Bowl, which was delicious, as were the steamed prawn dumplings. I highly recommend them! The pork bun was delicious, and seemed to be made with a lot of love. Also, someone working there, who seemed to be the manager, couldn’t have been more kind and attentive. Would definitely come here again! And we highly recommend it for a quick dinner! :)

Good taste and freshly made. The portion is a bit small or at least the rectangle dish makes it look small but still okish on fulfilment.Vibe is nice to hangout without loud music.

We received a phone call to say that our food would be a little late. This is excellent customer service because our expectations were managed. Food arrived hot delivered by cheerful driver. Good sized portions and great food.

I’ve been here before but I went again recently and I was sadly let down massively. The Sui Mai was genuinely inedible, they smelled like perfume and tasted like dog food. The steamed prawn dumplings were stale and hard. As a student it’s very hard to see £18 go to waste on food that i didn’t even eat or enjoy. Would appreciate some form of compensation.

Gem of a restaurant. I used the app for service, which was really easy to use, but you could just order from the counter as well. Service was friendly and the food was fresh, vibrant and tasty. Very reasonable prices for the quality of the food. Couldn't ask for much more really.

I was there a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed the food & the chilled out atmosphere of this little restaurant, the middle aged man (I think the owner), very cheerful with the customers and kind to his staff really impressed me.I went back today, I had exactly the same experience, I love this place.The food is good, in good portions, well presented and fair priced.I made this my pit stop when I go to Hastings, today I was in Battle, jumped on the bus, had dinner there and back to Battle for the bonfire night...that is how special Mwah is to me!

Nestled between the usual fish and chip shops is this fabulous option for noodles on the sea front. A simple menu of dim sum, noodles, rice, soups, and soft drinks, tea, or beer. Highly recommended.

Wow so pleased we found this restaurant, lovely place to eat, the food was exquisite, management were very friendly, did not have to wait long for our food, got busy very quickly. I would definitely recommend to all I know.

Mwah is an Asian pub sort of place with good drinks and really delicious dumplings, sticky rice, pau and much more. Their decor is super fun with a lip sofa and super long black and white chairs which gives the customer some good times in terms of pictures and keeps them engaged with their decor. I’ve lived in Malaysia before this and have had some really good dumplings and pau, the one over here is delicious too, the best in hastings I would like to add. The service is friendly and it’s a family own and run restaurant. They provide lemon and cucumber water for everyone which I really liked. Moving on towards the food, I ordered the chicken grilled dumplings, steamed prawn dumplings, spring rolls with soy sauce and sweet chilli sauces. They were served hot and were great for the cold winter which was comforting for me. I’d ask recommend the sticky rice with chicken and red bean/custard pau. Cheers .
