NUR RESTAURANT & LOUNGE in Hastings

Oh my God - popped in last night just by chance and I had the best lamb dish in my life! Melt in the mouth food and the front of house server was absolutely delightful - couldn’t have been better!

Food very salty and low quality. Misunderstanding menu. Waitress little bit rude. Coca-Cola was not sparkling. One little plus for the interior. I ended up in mcdonalds ;)

Just fabulous authentic food beautifully presented and delicious... From starter, Main course through wine to a delightful finish, it was a great atmosphere and experience... Thanks!!!

Had a delicious meal here, steak was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned, and pork ribs literally fell off the bone. Lovely atmosphere and staff very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend. 👌🏾

Mixed feelings for this place.. in my view way overpriced for what we got. I liked the cheese and garlic bread. Steak was expensive and despite being ordered as medium rare, it arrived rare. Sides weren't great either. Pasta was advertised with king prawns. I got a £12 pasta with the cheapest smallest prawns. Pasta itself was nice but menu was incorrect and I should have been told they replaced the main ingredient for a cheaper alternative. We have decided we are not going to gamble with a dessert. The decor is a different matter. I didn't fancy the attack of colours and styles but there will be others who might like it.. unnecessarily cluttered though. I will not be coming back to this place with so many alternative options around. Price was way too high for the quality of food we got.

So glad to find this place open when many weren’t in the city because of Covid. Amazingly a single server was looking after 6-7 tables and did a really nice job. Food was above average and average prices. I’d recommend stopping if you’re looking for dinner in the area, likely one of the best options.

Like most people, mixed feelings for this place. Our greeting was warm although we were the only people in here on a Monday night I know, but you'd expect at least one other table. I found the menu to be quite pricy but I don't mind shelling out if the food lives up to the expectation but unfortunately for this place it doesn't. I had the 'Meat Mixed Grill' and frankly it was as'salt'ing pardon the pun. But every meat was so salty it was like it had been dipped in the sea before serving. A mystery ingredient was bought in from over the road from the "Gourmet Shop Delicatessen" which if I had to guess it would be the sausages. My wife had the Veggie Burger and I'm afraid it isn't great news over there either, she reported bland and tasteless and the chips were the same kind you'd get in a kebab shop. It is a shame because its in a prime location in Hastings but it needs improvement. I wouldn't dine here again.

Atmosphere and food was excellent, great size portions, cooked fantastically couldn't fault a thing , brilliant will recommend to everyone we know

Absolutely amazing food and such friendly staff! My parents stumbled upon NUR while in Hastings for the weekend and liked it so much that they returned with my extended family the next day. A wide ranging menu that catered to a variety of needs, massive portions too. I had the beef stroganoff and would highly recommend it. Steaks and pasta also looked great. Really recommend a visit if you are in the area.
