Made a just eat order based on other reviews but wish I hadn't. Only good thing I could say is portion size is really good. But that doesn't really mean anything when the paper wrap it comes looks like tracing paper from pure grease. I held the paper up and it dripped off and burst into my mouth when I took a bite out of the fish.

This place was recommended to me. I'm not sure what happened. The guy got the order wrong, there was a kid climbing on everything, no one was wearing a mask, and it was the greasiest fish and chips I've ever tried to eat in my life 🤷🏻♂️

Unfortunately the staff on duty were very rude. Spoke only very loudly amongst themselves. The phone was continuously ringing and they were arguing who was going to answer it, so nobody did. The chips were inedible. Unfortunately will not go there again😥

Simple fish and chips shop, no frills but decent quality. The chap at the counter was friendly and patient with us while we chose. Takeaway only at the moment but there are garden and seafront benches nearby. There is parking round the back too.

Great fish and chips. The cod is always beautifully flakey and the chips aren’t overly greasy. The portions are incredibly generous and the food is consistently cooked to a high standard. It’s become even better since they started delivering too. Would definitely recommend.

I've used this chippy for a good few years now and it was always a very average experience but recently there seems to have been a change in management or ownership because the place just blows me and my family away now, I like to consider my self a bit of a foodie and this is definitely i the top of my list the chips were perfect,served piping hot tasted amazing fluffy golden and best of all you would have thought they were somehow cooked i the oven as there was practically no grease what so ever, but the real star here had to be the cod it was decadent, truly scrumptious the batter was light but had a beautiful crisp to it and the fish was somehow moist without making the batter soggy, I will be returning time and time again. Bravo for the amazing good.
