I live Petes fish bar always have and always will

Consistently good. If I was being fussy, I would say I wish they had more veggie options, especially for kids.

Nice food, but unfortunately both ends of the large battered cod were a bit too close together.

Used to be fantastic, but for some reason lost their way. Did a decent size order tonight, 2 kids meals, haddock, cod roe, 3 jumbo sausages, large chips and cheesy chips on Just eat... It arrived hot and good portions of chips... However: missing the jumbo sausages and the fishcake and fish fingers of the kids meals were not the usual standard and my haddock was a decent size, but was a bit dry. I did ring and let know about the jumbo sausages, which were replaced, but it took over 30 mins after everyone else had eaten. A little disappointing.

Nice meaty fish with crispy batter. Chips a little dry for my taste but with vinegar and ketchup lovely. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Oh and jolly good value.

Easily the best fish and chips in Hastings. Having ordered from here for many years, the fish, in particular the cod always tastes fresh, is flakey and the batter is lovely and crisp but not too greasy. The chips are good and the portions are very generous. With delivery an option, it’s great to order Friday night fish and chips that always arrive hot and tasty!

Take the massive batter off to find a couple of dry pieces of fish inside. Oh dear

Very clean & modern. Great system! Que up order & pay and then take a seat! Always lots of staff, very friendly & polite. Good quality food and generous portion sizes. Good choice of food and very reasonable prices. There's also a large flat screen tv :-)
