I haven’t checked in for a while but I needed to put a review in for Shish.I have been here before and recommended it to friends and family, but for the first time I brought my parents here and I have to say that the experience has not disappointed at all.The food is a delight, the house red is actually exceptionally good and the service is brilliant.If you want to head out for a bite to eat or a family celebration you couldn’t do much better than here.The waiting staff are exceptionally friendly and very welcoming and the atmosphere is very relaxing.Seriously, you really should try this restaurant out, you won’t be disappointed.

Food was delicious, service was great and really lovely decor. The portions were generous and there was some lively Turkish music playing too - great experience. :)

After walking round Hastings one evening with my partner we stumbled on this place.Simply put amazing, the food, the staff simply fantastic. Meal for two with two mains, starters thrown in for free, 2 beers, two diet cokes plus service tip for £43.00. awesome value and l don't do small portions, l was stuffed silly.Then just to push the service ver the top the manager upon hearing we were visiting arranged a cab to take myself and my partner back to our hotel(£5.50 cab fare). Amazing service and food.Highly recommended unless your vegan or veggie, then the place will not be your cup of tea.

Good food but they need to change waitresses immediately , they are rude and no clue about what they were doing.first time I have water for raki with lemon and straw .it’s like a joke. I give 3 star for food,zero for service !Shame I visited 3 years ago was really good

Yet again fantastic food, excellent friendly staff and so fast with our order. The meal of choice for my daughter's 21st birthday. Have eaten in and collected for take out many times and not once have we been disappointed. Can't recommend these guys enough.

Lovely people, great, speedy service. The bread with shish drippings was incredible and all the meat was tender. Highly recommend if you're looking for good quality Turkish restaurant.

I can’t possibly give anything more than 3stars to a restaurant that has more than an hour waiting time on a quiet, rainy Thursday around 6pm. I would definitely think before visiting on a busy Friday or Saturday.There were atleast four empty tables so it’s a shame they don’t have enough staff to accommodate to this (I have attached an image). Unfortunately, we agreed to wait at our hotel and were disappointed as they forgot one of the main meals (mixed shish) which meant my partner had to run back out in the rain and me and the children had to eat the rest of our meal without him as it was going to get cold. The food tasted great! I have given three stars because the restaurant gave us the mixed shish for free as it was forgotten in the initial order. It definitely could have been a better experience if there were more staff so waiting times are reduced and food items aren’t missed. It’s a shame because the food was good !
