Had a delicious lunch looking out at the sea on a glorious day. The staff were patient and cheerful when we moved tables and started causing chaos. Two of had the delicious avocado and tomato salad, the other two had eggs on chunks of tasty granary sourdough. I didn't spot any vegan options (might be wrong), but I'm sure they would have left out the mozzarella if I'd asked. Would definitely go again.

No exaggeration, the best breakfast I have ever had!! The lunch menu looked awesome too, would return to Hastings again purely to eat at Smiths again!

Have been going to this place for years now and have never been disappointed. Food is always amazing fresh and very high quality. Can be a little busy at times but just shows its a very popular location in high demand. The owner Richard is very nice and friendly and always makes me and my family feel very welcome... Keep up the good work :)

Best mushrooms on toast we've ever had. Absolutely delicious as well as the drinks. Friendly staff with great view onto the sea front.

I asked them to replace the burger in the haloumi burger for mushrooms. They did it and the result was amazing! The whole presentation was amazing. The flavours were so good and so fresh. I was impressed by the quality. I want to try the veggie breakfast next time I come here!
