Sublime in Hastings

We ordered a couple of vegan ortolanas via Uber. When they arrived they were stone cold. Also, one of them had been carried at an angle and the (liquid) topping had all slid off into a corner of the box.When we called up to complain they told us that "we should take it up with Uber". I don't think the delivery helped, but the pizza must have left the restaurant undercooked for it to have a liquid / slurry of "cheese" and tomato sauce sloshing around on the top. Having said that, they had managed to burn one edge of it too.It was so disgusting I couldn't eat it. Judge for yourself from the photo attached.

Waiting over 2 hours for delivery. When it showed up it was barely warm. Pizza is fairly standard, I could probably cook better myself and funnily enough, I can’t cook. Would not recommend. Your money is much better spent elsewhere.

Came here for a friend's birthday. The pizza was delicious and the service was friendly. Everyone had a good time. If I was local I would eat here all the time.

Lovely, well priced, little rustic Italian restaurant with warm and friendly service and atmosphere. Would have been nice to have proper wine glasses but that was our only gripe in this little gem. More than happy with our meals and won't hesitate to come here again next time we're in town.

Best pizza in the UK by far! Just like in Naples! Lovely friendly staff and Italian family run chain locally. Great vegan choice too. Fresh cold beer was tasty.

Popped in for lunch, tuna salad, little bit skimpy on the tuna but the amount of red onion tomato and sweetcorn made up for that. Plate was chipped but apart from that the service was very good, staff were happy attentive and pleasant. Definitely will visit again.

Love the food, and the people there.The menus could do with a bit more clarity on the website, you have to click to find out what the ingredients are, which definitely looses a point. Ordering should be easy, and perhaps suggest dual language for those who aren't fluent in Italian.Reasonable prices for freshly made pizzas, far superior to certain other pizza delivery firms. Garlic bread was amazing. Haven't yet eaten in, due to covid restrictions in the past , and not had delivery, only collected from the store.

Delicious pizzas, in a cosy restaurant, friendly staff, inexpensive. Good choice of pizzas, with a lot of additional toppings to choose from for a small cost. Last minute find, but so glad we did!

Quirky little authentic Italian pizzeria tucked away in Hastings! 🍕❤️ Extremely delicious pizza - clearly fresh out of stonebake oven - which was full of flavour! Friendly and attentive staff, quick and friendly service, and a very reasonable price for both the food and drinks. If you're in the area definitely check this place out for a bite to eat! 🙌🏻My only criticism; I couldn't see a spaghetti carbonara on the menu! (I love a carbonara so was disappointed to find out they didn't have one - but the pizza was great 😅)

Rustico Italiano is hands down the best Italian pizza in Hastings. I would like to start with how wonderful the ambience is when you enter this family owned restaurant. As soon you walk through the door one of the staff will greet you with the widest smile and help you get seated as soon as possible even if the restaurant is busy the wait time is not much. The staff are welcoming and their service is quite fast. I have been to this restaurant several times and have not even one thing to complain about the food or their portion sizes as it’s sufficient and every time I bite into their pizzas It’s a foodgasmic moment for me. Even though there are a lot of choices on the menu I feel it’s a simple one.I ordered the classic Neapolitana pizza, the Aubergine lasagna, buffalo mozzarella salad, fresh bread w olive and chilli oil ( you have got to get this trust me! )It’s a comforting place to enjoy with friends and family and one thing is for sure, you’ll never leave this place hungry. A definite recommendation from my side. Cheers.
