Subway in Hastings

£9 for a sandwich is disgusting value for money.

Last night, I was looking for something different to eat, and ordered Subway for the very first time from the Hastings take out, and cannot believe why I haven't ordered from them before. I ordered the 12inch Sub steak and cheese with onion, tomato and cucumber and found the ingredients so fresh and plentiful - it was so much better than i expected and I will absolutely most definitely order again, probably the steak and cheese, which is my favourite, but may try different fillings. I gave a 5 star rating as anything less would have denied them the credit for such delicious food. Thank you Subway, I very much enjoyed my meal.

Ordered sub to home which was nice. But it arrived cold, with a hair in it so couldn't eat the rest. On the upper hand they gave whole pot of sauce which allowed me to have a really saucy sub, as when you actually go into shop they barely put any on and do a quick squirt even when you tell them you want more.

Great food as always but very small and busy. Could not swing a cat in there and it was overstaffed, meaning that they were tripping over eachother and mixing up orders

I've visited today this store and I been disappointed to see that the hash browns has been packed in cookies bag.I've asked nice the lady to pack in a small box because the product is hot and it will damage the bag and after the hash browns will be covered in bag. Unfortunately I've wasted money for a product that after 5 min is good to go in bin because of the paper bag.

Can't say it's the best subway I've ever eaten at. The staff have gotten my order wrong two out of the three times I've been in which has resulted in me being charged for a more expensive sandwich. I've also noticed that the fillings are quite sparse and not really worth the prices that are charged.Not sure if prices vary from area to area but I've eaten at different subways that charge slightly less and are much more generous with fillings. Don't think I'll be visiting here again.

For some reason their "policey" does not allow you to have different sauces on each half of a 12 inch sub. You can have them as stripes on both though. Seems pretty, so much for the have it your way advert. What a load of rubbish, I have been a customer for years and never had this problem before, alas I shall use Subway "but not your way" no more.

Great for people watching. Had a chicken and chorizo salad with a sweet onion dressing, good portion so just as well it came in a resealable dish. It came with a drink of choice and a lovely squidgy chocolate cookie. Excellent value. Good location, just a few steps one way to the beach and a few the other for shops. Very busy at lunchtime so factor than in

I love subway and I always will. It is probably my favourite sandwich shop around. It is mostly busy depending on which one you go to so the atmosphere is kinda bad but the customisation on the sandwiches makes it all better
