Had my first visit there in 17th June 2022 during my daytrip to Hastings and was very satisfied. I sat inside and had Haddock and Chips. The portion was very good due to the large fish and having just the right amount of chips, and everything in the plate tasted nice. The chips are crunchy yet have the softness inside that makes great fish-shop chips for me and even the fish tasted really good. A lot of Fish and Chip places usually mess up the fish by making it way too dry but luckily the fish itself tasted good while the batter was nice and crispy. Finally the service was really good. Staff seemed nice and the food was ready very quickly while not feeling undercooked at all. Will definitely visit again next time I go to Hastings.

On a day out to Hastings on Thursday 9th June 2022.when we got off our coach opposite the Fish Hut my friend and I went in for a meal. We waited whilst our Fish and Chips was cooked to order and it was so lovely and fresh. We enjoyed it so much.all the staff were helpful and cheerful .I wish them the very best for the season..and look forward to going there again.just to say they do quite a full menue.and I welk recommend it for taste and value.

We have visited here for years, chips are always hot and tasty. Today I brought my children and partner here for the first time, we were greeted by a lovely female waiter who was very welcoming. All our food was hot, and tasty. Although the adults portion was rather small.Don’t advise you to get the gravy, was very watery with white floating on the top and absolutely no taste.

The restaurant service was excellent. Seems like fresh (not frozen) fish and the batter was light crispy . The chips and mushy peas were cooked just how I like them. The only negative was they were too nice and I ate more than I should 👍👍👍. Would recommend to anyone 😃😃

We visited the Fish Hut, in Hastings during a recent day-trip there. Hastings has loads of Fish & Chip restaurants and so we chose the Fish Hut more or less randomly and because at the time we were passing, there were some outside tables available. In the event, our meal was very enjoyable, the staff were friendly and the price was competitive. So all-in-all, we were quite satisfied with our choice of restaurant and would happily go there again.

We wandered in with our kids looking for great fish & chips (or in their case, sausage and chips!). What a lovely warm welcome we got - table service was brilliant and friendly, orders taken quickly and the food was fantastic. Everything seemed to be cooked to order and was super fresh. My haddock and partner's scampi were both perfect, the girls loved their sausages (quote "I wish it went on forever!") and the chips were fresh and hot out of the fryer. Couldn't possibly have asked for more. Portion sizes were also spot on, not too big but just right, especially the childrens' meals. Our girls are already asking when we can go back for more!

Wow, lovely food & awesome portions. Everything about out meals was beyond satisfying, batter on the fish was gorgeous. Lovely, friendly staff. 100% recommend & would use if I'm the area again

Great fish and chips after a long walk from Rye. Sat upstairs in the restaurant section with super view over the old part of Hastings and sea. Very friendly and cheerful staff, thank you!

Fantastic food and even better service. Even just getting chips is mouth watering - get fish and chips and you're in Heaven. Really fresh and freshly cooked. We loved it! To compare, we tried some other places near by, but it was not comparable. It is also a take away place with cheaper prices and it is open till late.
