It was the first time that I had visited this Pub which is in the centre of Hastings. I ordered a pint of Ruddles Best Bitter and a white wine, and the barmaid asked me for £2.29! I opined that she had erred, and she assured me that it was the indeed correct price for the two drinks! As you can imagine we stayed for another round! It is a Wetherspoons pub, and is as extensive as most of them are. The bar staff were all very friendly, the clientele were a mix of all ages and there were plenty of family groups dotted around the pub, most of which were there to eat too. The pub was very clean, very well lit, and it had a good ambience too. I have no doubt that my wife and I will soon return there.

What a terrible meal. I sat down at my table but for some reason I slipped an fell on a needle. To make the night worse I’m told I was then escorted out of the restaurant for telling the waitress that I could smell she was on her period. Although I did have a record breaking 39 chips which everyone on facebook thought was incredible, every cloud does have a silver lining.

Looks as if it could be a good pub but if you want to keep covid away this is not for you .Tables close together with no screens.Hardly anyone wearing masks, and that includes the staff, and as the pub was quit packed a massive chance of catching it.

This is without doubt one of the crappest spoons in the country, however the staff here are actually really great. Really attentive and offer great customer service. I would assume the management here drums it into them and for that fact they should be commended.

Always consistently good, never have to think about being one side of Yorkshire, Kent Wales, steak and chips, cake and coffee always Spot On. This pub is clean, homely. Glad we both came here, cheers!

Excellent Service at the bar and a very good selection of food. Did not wait long for food at around 6.00pm Disabled toilets on Ground floor and general toilets up two 2 flights of stairs. Prices reasonable and some unbeatable offers on beer, wine and some spirits. Well done Wetherspoons.

I have always been delighted with the exceptional service and attitude of the staff here. My only negative feedback would be I seem to develop vertigo on the way out the door. Is there any reason for this? Please explain.ThanksJames x

Lovely venue, good food, quality, service & value

It's a spoons, went on a Sunday lunchtime and the service was pretty quick considering time of day and it was really busy. Had the small plate pizzas again, they are really good pizza, highly recommend, maybe best thing on the menu. I generally rate most spoons food as OK, but I would rate pizza as pretty good, think pizza express. You can get 3 for £11
