The Lighthouse Fish & Chips in Hastings

Just had gorgeous fish and chips and calamari from Lighthouse. Would definitely recommend. Good service, really tasty and not greasy. Will be coming back here when I'm next in town.

Lovely Food, people and shop. Great prices so what more could you ask for? Always stop by when I’m visiting family in the area. Would recommend!

This place serves the freshest fish you'll find anywhere;- in fact my wife refuses to eat takeaway fish from any other source, because it just doesn't compare.All the ingredients are fresh every day, including the oil;- you never get that old oil smell or taste in this establishment. Portions are generous & keenly priced too, with a wide variety available on the menu. Do yourself a favour & get your fish & chips here, your taste buds will thank you!

Thank you Lighthouse. Excellent meal as always, especially today's Huss - enough for 2 days for me. You kindly cook fish without batter for my husband who is a Coeliac. Not many places do that. Your astonishing memory man is amazing. I just don't know how he does it at such speed with so many customers' orders. You all work so hard.

Lovely place for food. Excellent staff and customer service. I was waiting outside as the shop was pretty packed but I was still noticed and served. Excellent food!! Highly recommend.

We used to get fish and chips here all the time But went in tonight and totally wasted £16 on the worst fish I have ever eaten or attempted to eat !! Grey and yellow inside Obviously not fresh. And the batter was really greasy and tasted wrong .The chips were OKGood reviews I saw previously Maybe fresh is for regulars

Just refurbished. Extremely clean. Great friendly staff with well cooked generous portions. Best fish and chips in town in our opinion. Can call ahead and order as always busy. Can be difficult to park as near busy junction and multiple traffic lights but worth parking up further and walking back. Does not take card so will need cash. Has working relationship with general store next to it for cashback. Again friendly helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Fish & Chips of a highest standard! I had a huss fish recommended by the staff and it was incredible. Light, crispy and most of all very fresh! Hats off! Will be back for sure when visiting Hastings. Thanks for great food and service!

Delicious fish and chip takeaway (with a side of onion rings). Staff were very friendly and welcoming and I was greeted with a smile. As visiting the area for 1 night for work, I thought I might struggle finding somewhere nice to eat given the current crisis, happy to be proven wrong! Good food, good size, good price!
