Banks Fish Shop in Havant

Stylish looking chippie which first attracted me to the place as we were visiting the local area. Fantastic impressive choice with a lovely indoor seating area. We went for the classic battered sausage and chips twice, a lovely generous portion but not too much. Crispy batter on the banger and fresh fluffy chips all served in a lovely box each.For equally good price too. Most impressed all round.

Very friendly staff. Food was wrapped so well that it was still warm when I got home 45 mins after leaving on a cold December evening. They were freshly cooked and tasted great

We always go to Banks for our fish and chips. They are great quality and reasonably priced. We rarely have to wait longer than ten minutes, and when we have to wait it's usually because they're cooking something from fresh for us. Excellent chippy.

The new young manager is great: she’s friendly, welcoming and knows exactly what she’s doing. The business has almost improved (including quality) while under her control. The only reason for 4 stars is the other manager sitting on his phone with headphones in, ignoring the customers waiting, whilst she does everything on her own.

🤢 RANK for £26.50, just look at those chips, kids meals were just as bad. Never again. I just don't get why businesses just can't be bothered after all the lost business during covid, you'd think they would go the extra mile. Well least I know why I was the only person in there when I ordered. Never AGAIN 🤢

Had fish and chips yesterday from this shop yesterday and it was the best fish and chips I have had since my father sold his f n c shop over 50 years ago. An extremely generous portion, cooked to order and a wedge of lemon. My only regret, we were only passing through!

Best fish & chips around. We drive past 5 others to have our treat. Curry sauce is amazing, really good size portions and have very recently got a card machine for payment which makes it even more convenient.
