Deep Blue in Havant

Such a shame that yet again the quality of food is poor. Not the first time and really frustrating that the shop delivers no consistencyAnother meal from there that went straight to the bin as not edible. This time overcooked but often have had undercooked chips which is equally as annoying.When it’s good you can’t beat it but for whatever reason they just struggle to get the same all the time ☹️

We have known and been to this chip shop for years and used to know the family that owned it however every year it seems like they get more and more greedy with their prices yet less and less with their products. I treated my mum to cod & chips last night, she lives alone and doesnt bother cooking for her self much so wanted her to have something nice (she picked cod & chips) not only was it very over priced (nearly £10 for small cod and chips) but there was barely any fish, she had to scrape it off the batter 3 times just to get a Fork full. In fact her words were "Ive had more fish in a fish finger". Deep Blue if you're going to charge these extortionate prices for what used to be an affordable takeaway then make sure the produce matches up to it.

Absolutely disgusting attitude from the staff, definitely gone down hill the past year, the Young lady and the man on the fryers attitude was disgusting, don’t know how to run the business effectively. Waited far too long for food. Always over cooked.

I travel out of my area to get tea here as have experienced delicious food in the past. Unfortunately chips not as fresh as usual today, just a little cardboard-like sadly 😕 Fish in batter good tho'.

First time this evening, cod was amazing just wished it was bigger (not sure what size I ordered). The staff are really nice and very efficient. I will be going back.

Had chips from here last visit and they were good. Arrived to get more on a Sunday at 730. Google says it's open till 830 on a Sunday. It was closed. Wasted journey. Sort your times out. We really shouldn't need to resort to a phone call just to check your open.

Ordered large cod, large chips, more like standard fish and chips, hate to see what standard fish and chips look like. Had to cook more when I got home. I see some one else had the same experience on the reviews and the owners have done nothing to sort it. How much would cost to put another handful of chips in the box. Only gave this place 2 stars as what you do get tastes fine.

Just like to make people aware of what a rip off Deep Blue Fish and chips @ bedhampton, Hampshire are .We vowed not to go back there after the last visit , paid £17 for 2 X cod and chips and was disgusted with what we received, a handful of chips and a small square of fish !!So six months on and I thought I just want some chips they can't mess that up !How wrong I was. £3.29 for a large chips! As you can see from the photo no more than a standard portion at any other good fish and chip shop? And nearly double the price !Absolutely disgusting.Will never be going there again .

My husband has had takeaways from here before, as he works close. So tonight I thought I'd give it a go as our local one was closed. We had large cod and chips (expensive) both were over done. My husband's to the point that the fish had pretty much evaporated. Mine was too chewy to eat. If we didn't live in Waterlooville I would have taken them straight back. Really disappointing.

First time ordering from here. It was a collection order. Order was ready in about 20 minutes. Ordered 1 large cod and 1 large haddock. Both Fish was great but haddock was the better fish 👍 it was still piping hot . We didn’t order chips as we don’t like chip shop chips. Ordering was smooth through a ordering app. The woman at the counter could’ve been a bit more friendly I suppose but not that it really matters. Anyways We are impressed with deep blue and will be ordering our fish from here 😋
