Coffee and service used to be 5* before Nero bought them, I wonder if their barista training isn't what it once was? High staff turnover doesn't help. The food is tasty, and depending on who makes your coffee, the lattes are lovely.

Staff seem to hate their job and find customers a burden.Asked for two hot drinks to have in. When they were ready they were served in paper cups, not the end if the world but we used a spoon to stir the drink and quickly got told off by the staff to use the wooden stirrers for take away cups. Told them we had ordered to have the drinks in and got a aggressive 'We'll my ticket doesn't say that!'.I cant see the issue with using a spoon at the counter in the first place better to reuse than to use a product once and throw it away.

Finally upped their game.Last time I went there (at least 3 years ago) they were serving everyone with sneaky almond milk or some such tripe, and the coffee tasted like someone's vomit they expunged last friday after 4 pitchers of long Island ice tea and 12 jaeger bombs.This time around though, after much soul searching, they didn't sneakily put false milk into my coffee and actually asked me what milk I would like! O'rejoice all ye faithful and come hither among the milk gods that shine down upon Harris & Hoole.Also, the coffee's not that bad either.

Takes a long time even when only a few people there. The price of everything is just so high. The hot chocolate I had was small and didn't even taste that much of chocolate I have had better from vending machines to be honest!

Very dirty, wobbly tables but lovely coffee

Coffe and food are nice . Staff very slow .place is filthy asked for table to be cleaned .came and gave it a quick wipe with a dry cloth no spray .rather go to costas same price better service

I've visited a few times and I'll confess I'd prefer a Tesco café. Service is friendly but very slow at peak. The coffee is nice but I struggle to justify the increased price. The food is definitely not worth the price and I've been served sausage rolls cold in the middle twice. An efficient reasonably priced Tesco café would be far more preferable.

Service great however I feel that the coffee has gone down hill. The milk was steamed ok however the coffee had no flavor , boring and was over extracted. Which is sad because it tasted exactly like ( cafe Nero the new owners) I used to love this place but no more. 😪

Really enjoyed the coffee. when this place gets busy the lack of staff is highly noticeable.
