lizzy's Fish & Chips + Kebabs in Havant

i recently visited this establishment and was very dissapointed , i asked for a large cod and large chips , i pressume the fish had eaten half my chips and the thinnest piece of cod i have ever seen and i know you will say i should of comeback , but in my eyes if you cant get it right 1st time , that for me loses confidence , but luckilly i found a fantastic chip shop in west town and shall never return to lizzys , its a shame as it used to be good and now i would struggle to rate it a 1 !!!!!

I didn't expect that! Came here for something different and chose fish and chips, which was freshly cooked while we waited on the clean and well presented tables and chairs outside. Food took less than ten minutes to cook, served piping hot. The fish and chips were absolutely delicious, honestly the best I can remember having. Brilliant value and a real hidden gem.

Tried this place for a change and it was horrible. Batter was burnt, not sure how you do that, and chips were way over cooked. Mushy peas were musty tasting like they had gone a bit mouldy before being mashed. Absolutely terrible quality. Never again. Happily travel the extra few minutes and queue a bit longer rather than use this place again.To answer your comment the hassle of bringing them back, queuing and then waiting for replacement is just not worth it. Particularly when it should be of a reasonable quality in the first place. It's inconceivable that something that bad was considered edible by your staff, and you say it's my issue that I didn't take them back?

Wow. I Was quietly expecting frozen fish and frozen chips. But no, I couldn't be further wrong. The cod was fresh, as were the chips, fresh cut. Thoroughly enjoyed, five star without a doubt. *****

Absolutely love this chip shop great food and fantastic customer service . Even does smaller portions for kids and small eaters. 👍Love this fish and chip shop , cooks to order and also does chargrilled chicken wrap and so mouth watering and deliciousXx

Disappointed to find our favourite Hayling chippy had changed hands but decided to try it anyway. Staff were very pleasant when taking my order and serving our food. No pea/pineapple fritters though! Curry sauce was in a tiny pot but medium portion of chips was a good size. Ordered medium Haddock which was tasty but the batter was not - it was dark, flat and unappealing. Prices very reasonable. Sadly won't be coming back when we next visit.

Hands down the worst fish and chips I've ever had, not only greasy but tasted awful. Fish batter soggy and so we're the chips. Queued for 20 minutes the waited another 20. Would not take fish orders in advance to speed up the process only after payment. Did not speak much English. Best thing in this chip shop is the exit.
