Newtown House Restaurant in Havant

Came here for a night as a surprise for my girlfriend's 40th, was a really nice place. All the staff were really friendly too. Only a couple of minutes drive from the beach, which is really handy. Would definitely stop here again

Lovely place to stay it was , had a brilliant night sleep , staff were outstanding, and breakfast in the morning was delicious. Am certainly looking forward to staying again 10/10

Loved it. It was a diamond wedding anniversary lunch. Everything went like a dream and Lina looked after 18 of us beautifully. Thank you everyone who helped to make our day memorable.

Booked one night stay to see a tribute act for my birthday with my family and friends as guest.staff were very friendly and professional.Especially the hotel manager and bar staff. The tribute act was Gary Barlow performing in the Manor.Omg he was a class act and would definitely see him again. The two course meal was delicious and the service was excellent.One of my guest is always critical of food in restaurants and was worried they wouldn’t approve at the end of the courses he said that the meal was extremely nice and the desert was the best sticky toffee he’s ever had and will definitely come back for a meal in the near future.Well done to the chef James and the Team for a wonderful meal.Not stayed in the the hotel room s before but must say the room was very clean comfortable bed and very quiet. Breakfast was just as good and was met with the manager of hotel Fiona who greeted us which we all thought was nice and professional. Breakfast service was very good staff named Leah was very polite and looked after us. All my guess had a wonderful time and definitely coming back soon. Thank-you to New town hotel 10/10

Had a great night at the Newtown easy check in beautiful room everything you could need in the room . Staff very welcoming and polite . Food excellent service great .Gary Barlow tribute brilliant.

Wonderful venue treated us fantastically during our sons wedding. Rooms in old building were spacious newer building smaller rooms but clean and tidy. Loss of 1 star due to issues with hot water not sure why at times we couldn't get any.

Absolutely amazing day for our daughters wedding. All the staff were lovely and helpful. The venue and gardens were beautiful, rooms clean and good sized. Thank you so much for all your hard work to make the day so special

Overall a nice hotel but the family rooms need reviewing.Likes - Booked a family room and found it to be a great size with a good size kitchen a bonus. Good beds with fold up twins for the boys. Nice and clean with good bedding.Nice room all in all.Nice garden for the boys to play whilst we sat and had drinks.Nice bar and great breakfast.Staff were friendly and generally polite and helpful with a smile.Disliked · Sadly there was no where to eat in the room. After discussions with the hotel reception staff, we went for a family room with a full kitchen, cooker, microwave etc so we could support ourselves on occasion in order to save having to pay for breakfast and dinner every night.The room however had only one chair and no table or stools. Breakfast had to be eaten on the floor and there was no chance of takeaway pizza’s etc that we had planned.On speaking to a member of staff, I was given a rather crusty response of “The room is not big enough for a table and chairs” even though it was and had a full sized kitchen to cook etc.Shame as it was a great room with plenty of space for a small fold up table and chairs and the attitude was rather poor when I’m sure that there was an easy answer other than a flat “NO”

My husband and I stayed here in the honeymoon suite on our wedding night after getting married elsewhere on the island. We came back very late but the gentleman manning the desk at reception very quickly offered to help with our bags and showed us to our room. The room was very large and clean and tidy. My only complaint is that it needed a good dust around the ceiling! The room came with breakfast and was very reasonably priced for the honeymoon suite, and we enjoyed ourselves and the stay. It has lovely grounds and is located near to local amenities. Would definitely recommend.
