Ralph's Wine Bar in Havant

My mother and I had a great experience. The staff were welcoming, very helpful and we were served with a smile. A lovely place to have a few drinks.🍸

First time at this restaurant for a birthday celebration for four people. Met all our expectations & more, food was excellent with good portions & presented beautifully, staff were very friendly & helpful. Will deffinatley be back soon.

What a lovely meal we have had tonight at Ralph's. 2 adults, 3 children and a lockdown puppy, all had a lovely time sitting in the garden area. The food was amazing and the best we have had on the island so far. The manager of the restaurant was superb (sorry I didn't get his name). It was a great meal. The Wine and Lager selection was also awesome.

Booked a table for food at 8pm, it then took around an hour to be served our drinks and first choices. By the time our plates had been cleared and the staff asked if we wanted anything else the kitchen had shut. £30 for antipasti, bread and two glasses of wine. To their credit they did offer complimentary drinks. On average each dish was £7.95 but cannot speak for the quality as we never got the chance to try anything.

Rude and unwelcomingI had booked a table for 5 of us to celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival we were told by the manager in no uncertain terms that there was no table as the booking was for three and it was our mistake. As a concession we were offered a table outside next to a bonfire in the 30 degree heat; needless to say we declined and left. At no point did we receive an apology. My husband even popped back on his way to the takeaway to show the original booking - clearly stating 5 people - but the manager did not want to know. I have since contacted the bar twice but have been ignored on both occasions. Absolutely shocking customer service.Update: having been contacted by the owner two of the original party returned to Ralphs. What a difference being greeted and served by someone else.....They enjoyed good food and an interesting choice of gin. They would return.Thank you for making the effort to put things right.

Father's Day at Ralph's Wine bar. Easy on line booking. The roast was good. But no Tappas on a Sunday. Probably better all round to do fewer thing well, than more and waste the surplus. A price list would help. Percy enjoyed the trip out after initially refusing to leave the house.

As I am the previous owner, (Sold 2 years ago!!) I replied to all the reviews. There are negative reviews dated 11 months ago which makes it clear I was not in ownership then. Why would the new owner reply to reviews stating negative reviews were obviously left for the previous owners.Bad Manners that's why

Fab gin, fab food & tasty, fab atmosphere & staff, had a lovely date evening while we wer on holiday. Would definitely recommend 👍😃
