Very nice food and good wine. Not overpriced. Good atmosphere. Tables a bit away from the bar and less noisy. Enjoyed it very much

Lovely little find. Although most tables reserved, bar staff were happy for us to stay until booked time..Best beer on the island and the pimms was delicious. Made to feel very welcome by the bar crew.

Arrived on a sunday 1.15pm for lunch. Phoned midweek to book table, and advised one dinner gluten free, was assured this wasn't a problem. It wasn't busy in restaurant area on arrival, drinks order taken and drinks served quickly. Menu's perusedand roast beef chosen by both diners, advised staff gluten free. After quite a long wait our lunches were bought to the table. The gluten free plate had three slices of beef and three half roast potatoes and half a small parsnip, the vegetables served on a small side dish, consisting of two slices of courgette cut in half, a tiny floret of broccoli about the size of a 10p piece, a small spoon of red cabbage and four slices of Carrot no bigger than a little finger! I wasn't served any gravy and when I asked where the gravy was I was told they didn't have any gluten free, furthermore they didn't know I was coming! I told them I'd booked the table Wednesday and advised when booking. I can honestly say it's the worst Sunday lunch I've ever been served. I asked to speak to the manager, who apologised offered a free drink said I'd rather not pay the full price for my lunch as it was so dry it was difficult to eat. They did waive the price of my meal but come on, it's not hard to make Yorkshire puddings from cornflour or gravy for that matter. Sorry guys we won't be back.

I order moules-frites and beeing by the sea front I expected to get lovely mussels and chips. For the price their charge I got more shells then mussels, I managed a mouth full, thinking the moules will be at the bottom of the dish, nothing! the moules were baby one the size of a pea instead of covering the whole shells as it should be and the frites were McDonald's chips over cooked. I was very disappointed and the Chef who is the owner was very arrogant about it! Frozzen bulk food more like not fresh! What a shame as it is a nice little place but to drink only not to eat. I do not recommend you eat there. We only payed half but even half we can get a proper full meal for that!

Really nice meal with a relaxed atmosphere, not overly expensive either. Would definitely go again
