The Rusty Cutter Beefeater Grill in Havant

This is our first trip to The Rusty Cutter being the closest local Beefeater this evening with space for ten to celebrate the twins birthday. Our waiter, Will, met us at the entrance to take the birthday cake for him to organise later. On completion he showed the family to the table and took our drinks order, followed quickly by any requests for starters. He did explain it would get busy later.The starters, cheesy garlic flat bread & onion rings, arrived very quickly and were enjoyed by this partaking. Will waited for these to be finished before he attentively took orders for main meals. These arrived reasonably promptly considering the size of our party and increasing numbers of guests. There was not a fault in any of the meals, all served at a bit temperature, and which were very yummy. Meals included steaks, beef pie, salmon, fish & chips, and two kids meals. Will worked hard looking after the family and delivered the cake with a knife, plates & serviettes, as well as adding some candles too; wonderful for our teenager to be sung to in public 😂. Puddings and hot drinks were ordered to complete the family party meal and Will made sure all of these arrived without fault.We were dining there for just over three hours and a great time was had by all. Well done to Will & the team for a great evening experience to finish a wonderful birthday party.

Even though we had a booking for 7, we were made sit at the bar for about 10- 15 minutes when there looked like there were plenty of tables available. The food looked and sounded amazing on the menu but what we got was very disappointing. My 'smothered chicken' was a stingy piece of chicken with a bit of cheese and one piece of bacon. Chips were alright but not very hot. My friend got the chicken burger and the bun was completely burned. The girl who served us was nice but that's about it.

Had a great family meal here.Waitress was really lovely and friendly and we felt she put loads of effort in.Food didnt take long and was fab.Would defo recommend and if were in the area again we will certainly return.

Went there for a family meal. Been going to this particular place for a while now as its relatively local so knew what to expect. Had the house stack burger and it was quite good, followed by dessert and a coffee. It was not too busy and we were not in a rush so we took our time. Service was friendly as always.

Quite busy when we went on a Saturday evening as to be expected. There seemed to be just about enough car parking spaces, and you register your car in entry, for up to three hours. Food was nice and as you'd expect, prices seemed to be on the high side for what we got. Service was good and about the right pace. I'd go again, but would aim to go at a less busy time.

The waitress was friendly and very helpful. I had the nachos as my main course but the guacamole I had with it needed more flavour. It was a little tasteless and needed to be slightly less lumpy with more seasoning and garlic. I could have asked for something but unfortunately I couldn't see the waitress when I needed her. Nevertheless I enjoyed the meal.

Very good experience, table service was fast and efficient without any rushing if us to make decisions, drinks were out in very good time as was starters etc.Been numerous times and always impressed so this positive experience wasn't just a fluke.Can't recall when the menu changed exactly but it's a better offering than in the past with a varied selection to suit all our tastes

Food was ok, staff were something else. Not rude but abrupt and not attentive what so ever. I went there during a quiet period so there was no reason not to be so unfriendly.Portions were small for the cost not worth the money. They managed to get my dessert wrong too.Place seems clean and well looked after. I left no tip due to the below par service.

Had a really lovely evening with my family for my sons 17th birthday. The food was great, 2 out of 10 even had the festive menu. The waitress, was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Thank u so much for making it special. Totally recommend 👌

We visited here on holiday and had a lovely meal. We were served by Will and he was so helpful and made some great pudding recommendations. The food was simple but really well done. Also very impressed by the cow themed decor
