Camellia Restaurant @ South Lodge Hotel in Horsham

Nice setting and restaurant location with some nice green views. The food is good, but not great. Good for the area but not as good as decent restaurants in London. Brilliant beef roast though, probably the best I've ever had. Reasonably priced. So overall good, but wouldn't rush back.The grounds need some serious work. Very badly kept.

Wonderful food, beautiful venue and great attentive service as usual. I've dined here and the Pass a few times and it never ceases to amaze me how wonderful the attention to detail that the team goes to in preparing a gastronomic experience. We were sat on the terrace enjoying a wonderful spring evening, attentively looked after by a fantastic team, without being intrusive. A perfect balance.The quality of the food is beyond words. You don't go there to eat food, you go there to experience food. The care and pride that goes into every dish is plain to see. Subtle nuances of flavours that really delight the senses is a testament to the skills and passion of the team at The Camellia.The problem is I find it hard to enjoy "normal" food for days after a visit as it all feels so ordinary.We'll be coming back as usual because it is just too good not to.Thank you again for a wonderful dining experience.

The food was seriously delicious; the service was seriously perfect and the environment was seriously green.

Just a lovely setting with very attentive staff and the food was amazing.

Food was lovely but our waiter (Greg) was too intense. He started off very friendly, but then became overly familiar and was behaving like he was a member of our party. At one point, he started making rude jokes about members of our group. This ‘banter’ was not appropriate, especially as the restaurant presents itself as a fine dining experience. His service was most definitely not fine dining!

Overly location, friendly staff and excellent vibe. Food good but not great. Could be better for the price.
