Esquires Coffee House in Horsham

Appalling service and food. One meal returned as stone cold, waited forever to get a replacement. The eggs were hard nd served on dry toast. When we complained the waitress said OK and no apology was forthcoming. She didn't even clear the table of the wasted food but walked away. £9 for eggs on toast and a cuppa. Disgusting.

"They make the best iced coffee's in town. Highly recommended" Is what I used to say all the time, however over the past year or so the quality and service has only declined.We had a vegan breakfast there a few months ago and it was cold, missing things and my girlfriend received a stale end crust of the bread. We returned it and asked for a refund, something that I never do.It's sad to say but the service and quality has severely decreased drastically. The new manager comes across as rude and doesn't know how to treat his regulars with respect. My girlfriend and I will be visiting other caffe's in Horsham in the future. There are some other really good independent ones in town that are vastly better than what esquires has become.

Got a bit expensive in my opinion. Nearly £4 for a small hot chocolate with no extras. Service a bit disorganised too. Think about 3 people made my wife’s hot chocolate 🤣

Arrived for coffee and my wife ordered toast at 09:10 today, 2nd June 2022. 35 minutes later and still no toast had arrived so we left. There was only 1 server and she obviously prioritised serving coffee over food. We will return and ask for a refund of the £3:50 paid for the toast.It’s about time this place organised the staffing so that all customers are treated in a timely manner and not left waiting!

Amazing every time I've been there. The coffee is amazing and I'd recommend a gingerbread latte. One of the few places that does it all year round. The staff are friendly, quick and they have a great outside area for smokers. Music is always playing and it's a great place to chill and people watch. I'd also go for the sausage roll it's great cold or heated up. They even offer blue light discount!

Held an event at Esquires on Monday evening and it was great. Attentive friendly staff and great food all combined to make it really enjoyable for all that attended - would thoroughly recommend

Cute, vibey and pleasant, with great and lovely staff to compliment their lovely coffee! Atmosphere is what seperates this coffee shop from any other around. Will forever come to this coffee shop in Horsham! 10/10 experience at all times!

Such a pity. I like the coffee here and the sun came out and I wanted to sit outside but the tables and chairs were still wet from earlier rain so I went elsewhere. Staff still need to be quicker at clearing and cleaning tables and chairs.

Had a very nice vegan breakfast and coffee in pleasant surrounds, staff were friendly and it was great to have a range of vegan options on the menu and milk alternatives rather than just a token effort.

Such a lovely cafe!! Stopped here on a bike ride and glad I missed the Costas/Nero's etc, lovely outside space, great covid hygiene in place and lots of choice of snacks, drinks etc. Very friendly staff too :-)
