This place is excellent. Friendly service, exceptional food. Can't recommend enough. Try the Calzone if you like it hot, it's fabulous, the Lasagne was so lovely too.

Wonderful and friendly service. Clean and attractive restaurant.The gluten free pasta was absolutely fantastic. The prawns a little over oily but then again, it's personal taste.Shall definitely return as it's a little gem of a restaurant.

We visited Filippo's for the first time in ages. First thing we noticed is that there is less choice on the menu, which is mostly pasta and pizza. Previously there were more meat dishes, for example.We found pleasant surroundings, and nice helpful service. Unfortunately the food wasn't quite top notch. My mozzarella in carrozza was a bit under cooked, although tasty. Pizza was fine but unremarkable, and the panna cotta was dense and stodgy - my wife left hers.This restaurant is relatively pricey, so I expect a high standard for the dining experience, and this is sadly a bit average.

Absolutely great experience, the food was delicious and the staff just amazing. A welcoming, relaxed atmosphere, thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back again!!!!!

The decor is very tired inside so there is not really any ambience. Service is good and the staff are really friendly. Unfortunately the food is nothing more than okay (I had pizza, my partner had seafood pasta). The prices are fairly steep for what it is and the food is no better (in fact maybe a little worse!) than what you would get in a high street chain. I had high hopes for this place as it looks really cute from the outside but sadly it disappointed and I doubt I will return.

I would recommend keeping away from the Calamari Fritti, describe as Fried calamari on a bed of salad. Frozen calamari on a bed of limp lettuce, more like. Certainly not fresh, homemade or tasty. However, the main and desert courses did make up for the woeful starter.

Absolutely wonderful dining experience – the main meal actually defeated me, which is unheard of!Pleasant surroundings and comfortable seating (we were inside, there's outside dining in good weather). Friendly and attentive staff, great food, thoroughly recommended.

Delicious food and outstanding service. We visited for dinner just before lockdown 2.0 and it was really good value for money. A much better place to visit than the usual Italian chains! We will be using their takeaway service soon! Would recommend the pizza - it's huge and so tasty!
