Golden Willow Chinese Restaurant in Horsham

I wasn’t going to say anything, but after reading the most recent reviews I noted that someone had a food poisoning after visiting this establishment (timeline indicates 2 weeks ago). We went there for a lunch on a Saturday (3 days ago) and I have also had food poisoning. Still getting over it as I type actually! It has been a horrible experience for me. Therefore, make your own conclusion in your decision whether you want to eat food there or not.

Very nice food, fast service. Staff a bit grumpy when four of us turned up and we'd only booked for three, but they squeezed us all in anyway.

I've been getting takeaways from here for over 2 years now and always had good food. But I think the chef must have had the day off today. Food was bland, very disappointed. I live a 20 minute drive away so couldn't be bothered to drive all the way back to complain..waste of £20 Such a shame 😢😢

Very pleasant staff, order was ready when they said it was and was delicious. Couldn't fault the food at all

Food was pretty good. Service very efficient and quite friendly. Really, the only negative is that the wine is a bit expensive.

Disaster. If you can get through to them the order was delivered in two hours after I was told it would be one hour. The wine was not Shiraz but Malbec. Three dishes were missing. What a joke of a restaurant and the service. Never again.

Fabulous food !! Really and truly !!My fiancée and I went for the Set Menu A and are ever so pleased with our choice.Mixed starters included butterfly prawns, prawn toasts, prawn spring rolls, scallop parcels and satay chicken skewers.This was followed by a quarter crispy duck and pancakes.The mains were sweet and sour chicken, kung pao king prawns, sizzling steak and veg, seasonal veg with cashew nuts and egg fried rice.Yummy!!To finish, my fiancée had salted caramel, and coconut ice cream. I had the lemon sorbet...One really really really lovely meal.Thank you.

First meal out since lockdown, so this may seem very biased. Absolutely beautiful. Outdoor seating under clear skies, right next to a scenic duck pond!!! Great food. Couldn't have wished for a better way to get out a bit!!! Thanks girls!!!

Had meals from the Golden Willow a few times now and consistently the food is well prepared to specific requirements due to allergies, always on time as booked to collect and all-round a very enjoyable experience.Highly recommend giving the restaurant a try for eat in or take out

A lovely place to go and eat! I went in the worst of the winter weather (all that rain!) and I had a great time, I can imagine its lovely in the summer. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the staff were very friendly and polite. The menu is full of tasty dishes to try and everything we ordered came in good time and was exceptionally tasty. Great portion sizes too, so don't over order like we did!! I won't hesitate in coming back again.
