Really disappointed this evening. I had been looking forward to a chines all week. Ordered and waited over half hour then took the take away straight home. Only to find prawn toast was soggy, chips were cold, chicken ball were over cooked and grease. Very disappointed

Lovely meal from the local chinese takeaway New Friend this evening. Tonight was a king prawn curry, fried rice and spring roll (meat). Everything was delicious. Spring roll not at all greasy. Good size portion. I hadnt planned to share but actually was enough for two. Usually get some free prawn crackers but none tonight.

After trying this place multiple times I've found the food very oily, I squeezed out a teaspoon of oil from one of the spring rolls. Shame as it has potential to be great.

I have been using this Chinese takeaway for about a year now and it has been excellent. However, myself and my partner visited last Friday and were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. Grilled dumplings were too grilled, singapore chow mein was not spicy at all and the pancake rolls were abysmal - they weren't even pancake rolls as such, more like noodles in deep fried batter - nothing like we have ever had before and totally inedible. If you are reading this New Friend can you please find out why this has happened as it is such a compromise in quality and is quite frustrating for us, as it took quite a while to find a decent Chinese takeaway in the Horsham area and we thought we had cracked it!

Food was nice and Hot and to a good standard. Would definitely advise you phone your order through first on a Friday and Saturday as it seems to be ridiculously busy. Overall will use again.

Tried the New Friend Chinese take away for the first time and found the food to be really tasty, fresh and hot. We were very pleased with our kung po (we asked for the chicken to be battered) and sweet and sour chicken options. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

My family's go-to for Chinese food for the last 10 years. Even with the change in management (which has actually been an improvement) it has still always had a decent reputation. Their food is always freshly cooked to order with the best ingredients at low prices.
