Pulborough Brooks RSPB Cafe in Horsham

Beautiful and wide Natural Reserve. I liked it sooo much that I became a member of the RSPB. Walking on the designed path it's a pleasure for the eye and for the spirit, full of wildlife at every corner, educational and perfectly preserved.

Love the walks and the staff are so helpful. Great for all the family. It has a lovely picnic arena with tables and a children’s playground. The walks are so good for bird watching but remember to take some bow ocular’s.

This is the best site I know of for views of nightingales. I saw a couple and heard many more. There are all the usual summer migrants present, offering good views. The main building is a converted barn I think and has real character. The cafe offers excellent breakfast and lunch options, including the best vegan sausage bap I have had at any reserve. Bird photos are of a Sedge Warbler in front of a hide.

Stopped en-route to the South Coast and it couldn't have been a better place to do so. Parking was ample (even on a sunny half-term Saturday) The toilets were clean and right near the car park. The cafe served plenty of hot and cold food (pasties, sandwiches, cake and coffee) for a light meal, all at reasonable prices. The view from the cafe terrace a cross the reserve is superb. The gift shop is well stocked and reasonably priced and the reserve itself is wonderfully managed. We had a 70 minute walk around the reserve, stopping at two hides and one over-look platform. Saw an abundance of meadow and wetland birds (including a very friendly song-thrush). Other visitors are friendly (twitches are always lovely people). Our kids lived the recently repaired play area, near the picnic benches. We are RSPB members, so this was all for free - except the tasty pasty, of course.

A brilliant place to visit, whether you are a keen birdwatcher, or you just want a walk in natural surroundings with wildlife to see.

So pleased I've signed up with RSPB. Pulborough Brooks is so vast, it holds gem walks for everyone!

Great place to gently stroll. You always see something new. Nice café. With a shop to supply you with anything you may have forgotten. Car park is pay for by smart phone app for non members.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely shop and great Heathland walk including an iron age fort with information boards. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing time pond dipping here today with the kids. The lady kept all 3 kids engaged so well and was so informative about all the mini beasts they had collected from the pond. Will definitely go back again.

Wonderful place to visit and with so many different options on the membership front it's worth considering joining the RSPBThe recruiting staff and volunteers are very helpful at the entrance in explaining the process.Plenty of places to park close to the entrance and its wheelchair friendlyLovely little cafe for snacks great soup and fantastic Bacon ButtiesIts staffed by very friendly helpful peopleTheres a great outside viewing / dining area with plenty of tables and chairs well spaced outThe toilet facilities are on the ground level and are immaculateWe have visited the reserve on weekdays and weekends and nothing is to much bother for the army of volunteers they are so helpful and willing to share thier knowledgeThe Hides throughout the reserve offer a very safe environment with good air movement and great viewing facilities with plenty of information for the experienced / novice bird watcher,The reserve is very Child friendly and they are very well catered for, theres a great play area and also a feeding station close by where they can enjoy watching the birds and squirrels coming and goingYou don't need binoculars for that areaIf you dont have a set of Binoculars you can hire them from the desk inside the entrance building.All in all its well worth a visit and I'm sure that you will not be disappointed
