Went here last night what shame, as I have been here before and it was great. BUT last night the chicken was very tough to eat and watery it tasted like it had been defrosted quickly and not given enough time to cook. Very very disappointed it was Sunday and not that busy why why did you not cook this meal correctly now I will not be back again and that's down the the chef who must of known he was rushing this and sending out badly cooked food. Your reputation relies on the food being excellent but last night you didn't perform and it was third rate.

Never a bad curry from Rajkumar. Staff are always friendly and helpful when I go to pick up my order. Even when there is a slight hiccup with the order (like last night), I was offered a drink on the house. You can't do more than that 👍 One day I'll go and have a sit down meal in there!

Very nice food at a reasonable price (apart from the poppadoms which are extortionate). Looking forward to coming again

Still as good as I remember. Staff very welcoming and friendly and the place has plenty of ambience. Menu is expansive and the food excellently prepared and delicious - all washed down with a couple of pints of Bangla. Gets my vote for the best Indian restaurant in town.

Visited here several times, absolutely fabulous. Best place in the UK. My husband and I have eaten such tasty and excellent food. I recommend this 100 per cent you wont be disappointed.

Absolutely superb. Great staff, great food, and great price. Can’t recommend highly enough. Only downside is the lights in the toilet made me look 100 years old.

Went here last night with my little one and my other half, food was absolutely amazing, very rich in flavour, I hate being disappointed with a watery curry and it definitely wasn't that, secondly the staff were absolutely amazing with my little girl. We had such a great night thank you. You've gained a new loyal customer.

Very nice "old school" curry house. None of this fancy cascading water or other modern decor, just great curry, a nice atmosphere and attentive friendly waiters.

Food was tasty, as always - however, I was disappointed that none of the staff wore face masks, and they didn't seem to listen to us - we asked for 1 poppadom each, they brought 2 each and they brought to the table a drink that we hadn't ordered. We made them aware of this and they took it away, but then left it on the bill. Not tempted to return in the near future after this experience.
