This place just gets better, popped in for a quick liquid libation post a week from hell, and discover I can order food to take away, so now not only can I enjoy the company, liquid refreshment and food whilst being on the premise, I can now enjoy the top notch food at home, I just need to learn to walk quicker so the food stays hot post a 5 min walk home, my fault not the pubs.Keep up the good work and thank you for being a staple part of this awesome village, sorry for the half pint pict, I was thirsty.

A wonderful evening at The Red Lion handcross . Andy was so friendly and helpful chatting about the menu. The food was amazing . We had panko breaded brie and I had the pork belly.Lovely interior since refit.Cocktail was also fabulous , raspberry mule.Highly recommended.

Fantastic place to eat and have a drink. The food is good we go there all the time and they allow dogs that's a bonus for us.Staff are also always so friendly and helpful.Sheila, Lisa and The Sausages (dogs).

Beautiful pub with lots of character. Friendly staff and, based on the steak sandwich I had, pretty good food.

We had a really lovely meal this evening. The food was really good quality and the service was exceptional. Andy was very friendly and attentive, and made a great cup of tea. We were given time to chat, did not feel rushed but he also checked in with us to make sure we had all we need. Would recommend to everyone.

Plenty of car park space.A welcome reception.Very comfortable atmosphere and tasteful decor.Order taken proficiently and good food served quickly.Easy payment at till (three of us paid individually and that did not present a problem).Overall, a very pleasant experience. Well done and thank you.

Just come back from a really lovely Sunday lunch with friends I have not seen in some time. I live in the village but work in London, and often I find the service to be more friendly and professional than many establishments in the city.Andy seems to be working there every time I go in, and is always very attentive, friendly and professional, and handled my friends specific requests without any problems whatsoever.The food is reliably good and we will continue to come back again and again

We popped here for lunch on a whim, without a reservation. We were able to sit by the bar and order. The food menu was large and varied, from burgers and pizzas to salads and scallops. The staff at the bar were friendly and efficient. We didn't have to wait long for our order to arrive at lunchtime on a bank holiday weekend. Food was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. The coffee was delightful as well. We are glad to have stumbled upon this pub on our way to Nymans and we would visit again.

Exceptionally good food. I had the salt and pepper squid, pork belly with scallops and tiramisu - absolutely delicious 😋

Staff is very kind and helpful. Food is great, I had Sunday roast last time , I can only recommend it. Also when the BP electric car charger was no working in the car park the manager provided access to electricity so I could charge my car to get to the next closest rapid charger. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work.
