Ordered a Friday night curry online for myself and my husband, never had a curry from here before, but decided to give them a go, only live five minutes away, got the curry home and dished up straight away, all of it was stone cold, and I mean stone cold!!! After microwaving it all, it was very salty and not very nice, will never order from them again, total waste of money. TERRIBLE.

This excellent and very popular open kitchen restaurant, specialise in takeways and are the best in the area, with their varied and original choice of dishes.

Sadly, this is one of the worst and rudest services we have received. After ordering online through their own website the order was over an hour late. We rang three times to find out where it was and on the final call we asked to speak to the manager, who we were told had gone out for 2 hours (basically until they closed) and were then hung up on. There was no sincere apology no offer of any money back or an explanation. I would like to add we still haven’t received the order despite our money being taken.

First time we’ve used the Saffron Takeaway. We collected, the order was ready at the time promised, the staff were friendly & polite. We had the Saffron Special set menu, the food was delicious. I can say hand on heart that the standard is much higher than we have had for a long time from various seated Restaurants where we’ve paid double the money or more. We will definitely visit again soon, very highly recommended.

Been eating here since we moved to the area 7 years ago. Offer a fantastic choice and range of regional spices. Never had a bad meal from here. Don’t bother with rest, saffron is by far the best!

If I could give zero stars I would my friend recommended this place I always use blue India and will continue to do so from now on. Popadoms were forgotten, curry cold, salad in a bag which I did not order but how poorly presented. Charged for onion bhajis which I hadn’t ordered extra off! Customer services appalling manager wouldn’t even speak to us and they thought offering us free popadoms after are meal free was suitable!! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Having lived in Billingshurst for over five years I've tried the many takeaway shops that have come and gone. After trying saffron years ago I still go to this one with every chance I get when I come home from uni. The chicken korma is truly delicious and the tikka masala is amazing. It's not the cheapest takeaway, but I think it's worth it. No Indian takeaway has ever beaten Saffron. You may think the rice is expensive but it's worth it. I'd recommend the egg fried rice or spinach rice. Every time I've been the food has been brilliant. Would highly recommend for the best Indian you've ever had.

We have used Saffron for a good few years but recently have been very disappointed with the Service. Our last order two days ago was promised for delivery around 45mins to an hour, which is the normal time quoted, however after several more phone calls after the hour had come and gone and we were advised each time it was on it's way, our curry arrived almost two and half hours after the order was placed. Not only that, we were lied to by the manager who kept telling us it was on it's way. The driver said it had only just been cooked!! When we got our credit card receipt they had overcharged us by at least £10 and also the order was not complete! I telephoned again to complain and was told I would get a full refund, as yet I have not seen any money back and will be visiting personally to rectify this situation. Why promise something you cannot deliver. Very poor and feel sorry for them really as in the past things have been ok. Will be telling my friends to avoid this restaurant in future.
