The Blue Ship in Horsham

I camped and ate here, great little place. The camping field was spacious, flat, close to loads of public footpaths in woodland and meadow. Dogs are welcome ana there’s space to give them a decent tether. The pub food was well cooked and presented and my dog was even treated to her own little plate of biscuits. I’d love to come back with a group next time, awesome little place!

This is a lovely pub. We were welcomed by a very friendly and helpful lady. The beer is well kept and very nice. We ordered lunch, Macaroni Cheese for my wife and a Steak and Ale pie for me. All food is cooked to order and it was absolutely marvellous!! I have no hesitation in recommending the Blue Ship but only if you want to have a relaxed meal in a lovely pub in a beautiful little hamlet.

Super cute! Lovely little pub In the country home run and all local meat. The burgers were amazing! It was a little bit of a wait for our food but it wasn't bad and the staff were lovely.

What a fabulous little hidden gem of a pub, cute and quirky interior, reminds me of a good old fashioned country house parlour and sitting room.Good selection of drinks and real cask ales, served through a little hatch in the wall, by friendly and attentive staff.Food was lovely and there was plenty of choice on the menu, nice selection of starters and light bites, good pub grub cooked properly and a great beefy burger menu.Will definitely be coming back, prehaps after a hike or cycle ride around the rural area. Be an Ideal pit stop. Currently only open 3 evenings a week and Sunday lunch but I hope they are open Friday and Saturday lunch times in the summer.. hikers need their belly filled.Thanks to the staff for a lovely evening.

We would like to thank the owners for the lovely welcome, while we stayed at the camping site, next to the pub during the weekend. The staff were very friendly and the food was a pleasure to eat! We liked the animals next to the pub, I think it was a really nice idea to have some pigs and horses around for the younger ones to see. It was very pleasing how we could take a long walk around the countryside and how the owners gave us some nice locations to go and see. Thank you for the warm welcome!!!

We enjoyed an excellent weekend of camping here. It is a beautiful location to enjoy a couple of nights getaway like we did, the campsite is basic but ideal for a short break. Great value for money.The owners could not have been more welcoming and they are very organised with the booking process with additional covid safety procedures in place. Sophie was so helpful from the moment we first contacted her for availability and options.We enjoyed two fantastic meals at the pub, the burgers are to die for and the Sunday Roast was like a proper homemade roast should be.We are hoping to get back for another weekend in August. Whether you are looking for camping or just for a great pub to eat at, this is the place to go! Thanks for a great weekend and a much needed break.

Service was great and friendly, and the food was fine. Main issue (and to be fair they do explain this on the menu) was the wait to get food. We arrived at 6:30pm and finally got the food over two hours later.We'd also been told the curry was great and ordered it and then after an hour were told it had run out and so had to choose something else.So nice pub, friendly staff, and food ok, but I wouldn't recommend going there at busy times unless they improve the throughput in the kitchen.

Lovely food and Sophie & family super welcoming, nothing was to much trouble, relaxed & professional atmosphere. Great family run traditional pub.I also do not understand the negative reviews we couldn't fault the pub, food or the team.I do not see the issue with an owner responding to these keyboard warrior negative reviews when people will not say if they are not satisfied at the time, in my opinion it shows how much she cares for the business and how they strive for the perfect customer service.Well you all should be very proud your doing an amazing job!

Great local country pub. Nice beer and food😀 Do not think you would get a better sandwich anywhere. This is our favourite Bacon and Brie with Cranberry. Truly amazing...
