Great pub & restaurant - highly recommended! Attentive service, good food well priced. Food allergies / veg / vegan extremely well signposted on the menu (& flexibility as well). I'll be eating there next time we're in the locality.

Midweek friends meet for lunch. Freshly cooked meal, well presented and served hot. Menu choices and specials are modest but adequate. Very attentive service. Small character village pub with comfortable conservatory style dining area opposite village green. Dog friendly.

Lovely pub very welcoming, great atmosphere. Lovely lady behind the bar! Food very good but chips not crispy enough for us. Would definitely come again!

It's a real skill getting quality food out consistently from a pub kitchen and the crown does it with aplomb.6 of us eating and we where informed at the start that the table was needed again in 2 hours but after that no pressure just efficient, polite service that meant a pleasant catchup with family over a good roast and toffee pudding, what Sundays are made for

Based on a short visit one lunchtime, this seemed an excellent inn with good staff.The building itself is a decent size with old beams and a number of different rooms.I had very tasty tomato and herb soup with excellent warm crusty bread & butter.

What a great place to stay - the decor is brilliant. Different themed rooms and all very well done. I stayed in the Ancestry Room. It was clean and had a great shower and lovely view over the green.Sadly I didn't have time to eat here so cannot comment on the food, but if the smells from the kitchen are anything to go by, the food should be very good. Friendly and helpful staff and management. I hope to visit this place again in the future!

Fab little hotel - was perfect location for a meeting I had nearby. Rooms are very comfortable and beautifully decorated! Room was super comfortable and slept soundly through to my alarm!Ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Service was great.Super friendly team! Will be back!

The food here is of very high standard. All homemade delicious meals. The surroundings are pleasant and clean. The staff are very quick and attentive. 🐶 Dog friendly 🏳️‍🌈 LGBT friendly
